Collapsible Over the Sink Colander/Strainer, Red

We bought our collapsible strainer in March of 2017. It's seen a lot of use. We love the way it collapses to fit into the dishwasher, or for storage. Fits our sink well. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe. It's been our "go to" strainer since we bought it. Oh, and my wife loves the color (purple). :-)After 11 months of use, we noticed some cracks (about an inch long) develop in the corners where the material folds. I checked the listing, which showed a one year warranty. We contacted the seller, JB Enterprises - good to their word, they honored the "no questions asked" warranty quickly, professionally, and pleasantly. The replacement unit arrived today! And yes, the replacement is purple too. :-) GREAT customer service.

I am so sorry I did not order this product sooner. It is fabulous. I often cook pasta and have a round plastic strainer that I have had for about 25 years. It took up a huge amount of room in my cabinet as it did not collapse. The pasta always spilled over the sides. This strainer is just the right size, fits over the sink, strains the pasta without spilling, collapses to fit easily in my cabinet and for an extra kick...it is a cute purple! I love it! I am going to buy several of these to give as wedding gifts. The price is right for something that is so very useful. I really, really like it and if you cook pasta or anything that needs to be strained - this is something you will want for your kitchen.

This is my second one of these. They really do the job if you are making a lot of pasta. The only drawback is the creases where you fold it up will eventually crack. But for me I can live with replacing it. I know I have had my 1st one for over 5 years but less that 10. Since I am replacing that one I would say I am happy with it. I am also able to store mine in the cupboard with my cutting boards handy to the sink. My old strainer was metal and had to be stored in another room because I simple did not have room in my kitchen for that large of a strainer.

THis is one of those little upgrades that makes life good. I love that this sits securely on my skin and keep the food off the skin bottom (yuck) it’s held up over time and does clean easily. It holds a large volume of food. It’s never wobbled so I can trust that it’s going to stay put while I pour hot foods. And speaking of hot food, it take heat just fine. And the fact that it collapses flat... SO GOOD!!

This blue collapsible colander is fantastic! It can extend to various widths to accommodate different sink sizes. I can push mine down easily (even though I have wrist and hand problems) - I push it partway down for smaller quantities of fruits,etc, and all the way down for big quantities of pasta. It washes easily and pasta doesn't get stuck in the whole thing because there are no holes in the sides and the holes in the bottom are big enough for most residue to rinse out easily. It also stores very easily either vertically next to my cookie sheets or horizontally up in my cupboard. It pleased me so much that I bought one for my daughter for her birthday as well as one for my niece for a shower gift. I highly recommend this!

The front handles are adjustable and I can hang it over my sink. I'll bet it will work with almost any sink. It's great for pasta which is the only thing I have used it for. It collapses into a very small thickness for very easy storage. I like it a lot, but I'm skeptical of it lasting for years under heavy or even moderate use. Fortunately I'm an old man and use it only occasionally, so it is perfect for me.

My daughter found this.I got it & wondered about it. Well, it fits across my sink , It holds a good amount.It is easy to clean & drain any fruit & I let it dry some. Heck blueberries have sat init with us snacking all day working around the house. Anyway I love this. I wipe it out & once in a while through it in the dishwasher. I love it.
