Godzilla vs. Kong: The Official Movie Novelization

I enjoyed the movie even though it was very stupid and the book is a good companion piece. The author is able to fill in some gaps in the story and helps you understand more details.

* - MOVIE SPOILERS - *For any big Godzilla fan, I would strongly recommend reading this after watching the movie. Ren's character is a lot more fleshed out, Mark is written better, Mechagodzilla's design, the tech behind it, and subsequent rampage are explained a lot better; I absolutely loved the movie but I actually wish this was how the movie went. Godzilla vs Kong was already a really fun movie and fortunately, this book totally added to the experience! From the beginning, you're treated with events that took place before the film and throughout the book, more detail and an excellent description of the monster fights and environments around them. Good character balance as well and an overall very solid read.

I wanted to read this after seeing the movie to see how it differed. There honestly wasn't much additional content, except slight backstory additions. If you've seen the movie there isn't much point in buying the book.

As a life long Godzilla fan the recent rematch between Godzilla vs Kong was something I have wanted to see since I was a kid, and the movie didn't disappoint on monster action but there were some plotholes and this book fills them in and expands on them. So if your a fan spend the couple bucks, pull up a comphy chair, and have a good read

I love the film but this is even better. It fills the gaps that left people wondering about several questions that weren't addressed or not fully answered in the movie. Besides that, it nearly connects to past films and comics as well as paying due tribute to the original Kaiju Japanese films and the 1930s/70s King Kong films that started it all. It's a marvelous narrative that despite being fast paced at times, it does a great job in developing these characters and allowing is to see the world through the titans and humans eyes.

If Edgar Allen Poe and Shakespeare had a baby, it would take the form of this piece of literature. With engaging themes and symbolism, Godzilla v Kong keeps you guessing until the very end! Recommend for all readers seeking a thrilling and challenging piece.

The Godzilla novelizations have been fun. I've enjoyed them, and Mr. Keyes does an incredible job in fleshing out the characters and plot of the recent film. His chapter intros are particularly good, and add to the sense of mystery to the origins of both Godzilla and Kong. The text is easy to read and one doesn't have to think too much about what's going on. It's a shame that novelizations and tie-in's to films are dismissed. It arrived in good state, no slightly ripped pages or anything . The book is just a little smaller than I expected . Other than that , it's great .

Love how it describes the scenes, going back to watch the movies you notice alot of things you missed because the book tells you them.

Personagens que claramente teriam melhor desenvolvimento se o filme fosse 15 minutos mais longo, aqui recebem o respeito devido.
