¿Tienes una pregunta? Mira lo que otros preguntaron

How deep is it from the lip that rest flat on the counter to the bottom of the stove
What are the dimensions of the cutout for this?
i am still struggling to find an adapter to connect this stove to a 16 oz propane canister. Anyone?
Is this something that a novice could hook up without an immense amount of danger? I don't want to go BOOM😬

2 year review- would recommend!

Haven't had a single issue with this stove. I used it to build a portable camp kitchen, so if I'm honest, it's gone through the ringer. It's held up, starts at the first twist of the knob every time. Only con is that the flame king logo has slowly faded due to steak grease popping on it/ me wiping it down. If you're not super emphatic about appearance I'd say it's a 10/10. The case I built it into, in the event you're trying to do the same thing, is an apache 9800 from harbor freight. Hope this helps!

Perfect RV stove

This stove is a perfect size and weight and equal or better quality than the one we replaced. It looks good, cooks great, and I love the flip down top to help keep it clean when not in use!

Price/Quality makes the other more expensive options irrelevant

According to the various reviews on this and other comparable products, I see similar complaints. So you have to take reviews with a grain of salt. In general, this is a very low cost, relatively high quality(very high quality compared to price) With Amazon gift card I spent $57 which is about 1/2 what a competing cover costs forgetting about even the oven.I did some research before buying this because the price was so low. There were some recalls on the stove through an RV manufacturer (you can find a link online). This relates to a regulator cover seen at the propane entrance to the stove. It has been fixed by replacing it with a metal cover. The other shock and surprise I got is that this stove has dual ignitors (no batteries or power required). The stove is relatively lightweight, but once installed is plenty sturdy. Due to the thin metal, there can be some distortion and you will have to bend the top and side a bit to fit but that is really no problem. The gas valves with integrated ignitors seam high quality as do all the elements. I was going to use an old Harbor fright propane stove made in India. This is far better quality made in China. If in the market, I would say grab one of these before the price goes up.

After 2 1/2 years of daily use, it still works great!

It's narrower than most drop-in propane stove-tops by 6 - 10 inches. The good about that is it takes up less space, but the bad is that 2 pans at once is difficult as shown in the first pic. The sticker with the knob labels was peeling off within a week of use, and after fighting with it for months, I finally relented and ripped it off altogether. The adhesive was far more stubborn, requiring a scraper and Goo-Gone to remove. The biggest problem is in installation, the propane inlet is on the back less than an inch from the base meaning if your counter is thicker than about 1/2 inch, you'll need to gouge away at its underside to get the hose to fit (see second pic). Only other complaint is that it doesn't lay more flush with the counter. As you can see in the pic, the metal frame sticks up an inch, so it's not the prettiest installation. Other than those minor complaints, it works very well. Each burner has a piezo igniter -- almost always lights on the first try on the large burner, on the second try on the small one. And the stove itself has worked flawlessly, and I have used it every day for over 2 1/2 years now in my small custom camper van build. Came with a lid and wind-guard I never used.

Too hot

This stove doesn't have a low enough temperature control. Everything ends up burnt.

great stove for the $$

I replaced the old stove in my vintage 1983 fiberglass camper w the Flame King. As another reviewer noted, BE CAREFUL ON THE CUTOUT! The hole was already cut from my old stove so nothing I could change but if you are cutting anew, be aware that the corners on this stove are rounded and ANY amount of over cutting will result in a gap at the corners! I would suggest undercutting the drop in dimension by about 1/2 in and ROUNDING the cutout corners (rather than cutting a true rectangle) so this drops in flush with no gaps at the corner. Yes, you have to flame light it but, hey, for this price? I would use a flint stone! The flames are easily controlled and there is a nice range from low to high on the flame. My old stove also didn't have a top like this one so this is a VERY nice improvement as I can put my mini toaster oven on the closed top. Camper is only 10 feet long so counter top real estate is a premium - this stove was a terrific upgrade for that reason alone! I also like that the grates are removable but you really have to work to get them out so they don't spontaneously pop off and fly around while traveling. I would def recommend this stove!

good wile it lasted

this worked great for several months.but today it decided to go crazy and melt itself, yes it melted the plastic knobs and the flame king sticker.I had to shut off my propane tank to turn it off because the knobs were melted.I hope they will send me a new one because I did like it wile it worked.I'll update the review if they replace it.

Reliable Stove

I put this stove in a countertop that I built for a van build. Just make sure to leave extra room for the propane hose bend after screwing it on because it will stick out several inches. I barely had room for it after I had already cut out the hole for the stove. Just give yourself some extra room in the back of the stove counter. The flame is hard to adjust but once you figure it out, it works well. Light flame, then turn the knob to the left until it clicks. The flame will be on high. Then, push knob down and turn to the right to lower the flame. Stove works well. I've been using it for a year now.
