Good: picture is reasonable viewing both during day and night. Can see images well close and 75 feet away. Streaming to cell phone and desktop only has about 1 second delay. Customer support is great at responding and getting to root issue while maintaining a friendly helpful atmosphere.Bad: No audio included in camera. No person detection. Too many false alarms for motion detection as I live in the woods. Web site has lots of information but its a bit difficult to find the latest versions of software.

The item description says it’s a ZM4285. I received a ZM4295. They look identical but this camera shows up with a lower resolution in the NVR software than my ZM4285 cameras that came with the system. It also freezes when viewing motion playback on the ZR08EN NVR and stops recording every morning around 7am for about 3 hours and displays a gray overlay when viewing playback on the pc/phone app. Multiple resets of the system have done nothing to resolve the issue. Otherwise picture quality day and night is what was expected for the price paid. The cameras that came with the system work well.Update: A software update for the NVR provided by the manufacturer has resolved most of the above mentioned issues that affected this particular camera in my system. Night vision on this camera is still cloudy as seen in the attached comparison photos, daytime is good. For that reason I will only give it 3 starsUpdate: I was able to successfully clean the lens which was causing the cloudy night vision. Now it’s almost as clear as the other cameras. Upping to 4 stars

The best cameras with phenomenal images. Night vision as if it were daytime in black and white. Recommended

This camera stopped operating as soon as the temperature dropped under 50 degrees. It gave me less than a 90 degree view

Update. Took a long time for customer service, but they did finally contact me and were polite. I was told the camera does not work with my NVR, hence why it wouldn’t show up. The description should easily list all NVR’s this camera will work with, as I’m not the first with this issue.Before purchasing, try and get a hold of their customer service to make sure it works with your system.I will change my review only IF customer support actually contacts me, as of now I have not heard back.I’ve followed the simple instructions to connect the camera, the cameras green light comes in, the IR lights come on, but no picture on my NVR. Going back at the end of the week if no response from ZOSI !

The price and availability were very important factors to allow me to complete my project.
