Love it, using it for a bank

My public TV station had the first half of the series made in 1997 on yesterday. I had read the book years ago and loved it so was happy to see the film. Unfortunately the second half isn't scheduled any time soon as far as I can tell so I got out my copy and started re-reading it. I had a hard time putting it down.It is one of my all-time favorite books.

This is not the original book, but a rewritten version that is smaller and in simpler language. The website doesn't tell you. I am returning this.

The details did not say this was an abridged edition. i am not familiar with level number meanings. It would help to describewhat the level five is compared to lower and higher level numbers..

This is not the original novel, but rather an abridged, rewritten version aimed at school children. The website description does not mention this fact. Now I'm stuck returning the book, and will have to find a copy of the original novel elsewhere.
