OXO Steel POP Container Big Medium Square - 4.4 Qt for Flour, Sugar and More,Grey

I bought two of these one for myself one for my grandfather and they are excellent for holding coffee and coffee beans however I would recommend ordering it directly from the oxo site, because the second one I ordered I had to essentially order three times to get it the first time the seal didn't work the second time they didn't send a lid and I was told I had to refund the entire transaction and place the order again in order to get it so that time I just went directly through their website and I got a container that is an even better fit than the first one I got and it works amazingly. 10/10 recommend this product and oxo's support team

Having never owned a pop container but being a huge fan of virtually everything OXO makes, I was excited to try this one out. And wow, they're so much better than the generics! I've been using an off-brand quick seal container for flour and sugar for years, and the difference in the strength of the seal is night and day. The pop container has a big button with a really satisfying click, and it seals tightly to keep everything fresh. I personally use the UV-blocking coffee storage one to store loose leaf tea and it works great. The steel lid is a really nice bonus too - it looks sleek and feels very sturdy. They tend to be a bit pricier, but I can confidently say that the upcharge in comparison to the knockoffs is so worth it. If you already have lower quality containers like this, it might not be worth upgrading unless it breaks since they fundamentally do the same thing, but the pop containers are just so much nicer than the standard ones you can typically find. Overall, I highly recommend these!

These are pretty great. I used it for a while before I realized that the scoop attaches to the inside of the lid, too. Seems to do a good job of keeping coffee beans fresh. And two scoops of beans are just the right amount for a cup of coffee made with OXO's pump brewer.

Very useful for storing flour as I bake a lot. Solid construction. Well worth it. Will keep buying these

I have several of these pieces. They are really pretty and look nice in my kitchen pantry. However, some of the pieces work perfectly and have a strong seal, while others barely have a seal at all.

UPDATE: After MANY emails and ridiculous hassles, Oxo finally sent me a replacement container. This was a customer service disaster. Lots of emails and phone calls, just for a cheap, defective small container. Total waste of my time. Initially Oxo refused to help and said I need to contact Amazon, who, of course told me I had to contact Oxo. Love it when companies pass the buck. Amazon again told me I had to call Oxo, so I wrote them back and told them in very clear terms exactly how much this sucked. Only after a strongly worded email did agree to honor their warranty and send me a replacement--but first I had to write all over the outside of the defective container and on the lid with sharpie stating "Do not warranty" and send them multiple pictures of it. Yes, really. All of this hassle for a warranty claim Oxo initially refused to honor - for a cheap $19 container. Absurd. I am done with Oxo. Their customer service is terrible. I have had four of these containers, two of which have been defective. That's a 50% failure rate. I did finally receive a replacement for this little one a month after initiating the process, but going forward, my expectations for Oxo products and customer support will be low. I will probably not buy any more Oxo stuff. And yes, I realize America's Test Kitchen highly recommends LOTS of oxo products, clearly enjoying the fruits of a healthy affiliate relationship. Unfortunately, there is only one Oxo product in my home which I like at this point, the 12-inch nonstick skillet ATK recommends. That's a great skillet. Of course if I ever have any problems with it I'm sure I will be out of luck. Future kitchen purchases will not include Oxo brand products. Conclusion: Oxo products are inexpensive and cheaply made. You get what you pay for. ---Original Review--- Ordered the 1.1Qt Stainless Pop container to keep corn starch in. No sign of damage, but unit appears to be defective. The top will not stay sealed. The button will not stay down when pressed, and is therefore unable to seal the container. Very disappointed. Best of all, Amazon asked me to contact OXO, which I tried to do, but I am on the west coast, and OXO is on the east, and keeps east-coast customer service hours only, and closes at 5EST, which is 2PST. Thanks Oxo. This means I have to call them during the workday only. I tried twice. No luck. Finally sent them an email through the contact us form on the OXO website. It has been a few days and I am yet to receive any response. I sent a follow-up note today. If I ever hear back, I'll update this review. It should be noted this is not the first time I have had this exact same issue with these containers. I previously had the Stainless 4.4 Qt for flour, and after a few months the same problem started happening - it will not lock closed. I called Amazon about that issue and the return window had closed, so I was out of luck. This time I am contacting OXO directly. I did not do so the first time, but I should have - my fault, I just tossed that first one. Wish me luck this time. :(

The product is great; however, the seller sent the product with a barcode pressure-sensitive label that could not be removed. I used Goof Off, which removed the paper but permanently etched the plastic.

These Oxo containers are great replacements for the ones we have had for nearly two decades. The seal on our old ones finally went, and we decided it was time to replace them. The stainless steel top looks great in our kitchen, and we love the sleek look with the typical Oxo trustworthiness! Unlike our old ones though, they are perfectly stackable and fit a 5 lb of flour even better than our older ones!

Agora, a AMAZON não está tendo cuidado e respeito com os clientes, comprei 3 potes, todos vieram com a tampas amassadas e extremamente sem proteção de plástico bolha, totalmente ao leo, desprezados dentro da caixa, com tampas soltas. Confiava muito na AMAZON, agora fico com receio, sem confiança de comprar de novo, lamentavelmente.

They're so much nicer than the white ones. Just brings up the aesthetic of the pantry so much. Love the style of pop top that is so easy to use, the "pop" is also the handle, so convenient
