Very sturdy keeter tool box w/locks
My husband absolutely loves his new tool box especially since he now can put all of his carpenter tools in like 1 instead of toting around 5-6 bags. This tool box is made very sturdy for heavy battery operated tools, which is perfect for what we were looking for. I highly recommend this tool box if you are in need of one!

Roomy 2 Tool Box Stackable Rolling Carrier w/Insert Trays, Steel Pull Handles & Rubber Coated Wheels
I was skeptical when I saw this was mostly plastic but it has surprised me mostly pleasantly at how well it is made. Although much of it IS plastic, the construction is thick enough to support the weight of tools, reinforced and important parts are generally made of steel and aluminum. For a home owner like me it is great; for a job site contractor, not durable enough...Picture 1 shows the 2 tool boxes stacked; the top box latches onto the bottom. Those sliding plastic latches that attach the top box to the bottom are not durable enough. They will break easily. I deducted a star due to those and the wheel cap nuts. The bottom box has an integral pair of rubber coated wheels on a steel shaft. The wheels and locking metal riser tow tubes are not intended to be removed from the bottom tool case. The square cross section handle shafts are metal and lock up or push down to stow without pressing a button of detent. The tow handle has limited length which will be awkward for tall individuals to use, also a problem.I really liked that the latches which close the boxes are metal. Small locks can be added to the metal latch rings if I wish. The top box has a small parts/bits storage section clear top that is removable from the top toolbox lid. (Picture 3). It has dividers that are movable (3 are lying down, 3 slotted in as seen in Picture 3. That's great for stuff that can get lost in the bigger boxes. It is NOT secure but good for at home. The top tool box has a good sized long open tray and is roomy with a handle (black tray Picture 4). The bottom BIG tool case has a deep red tray with fixed dividers (Picture 5,6)and a handle. The bottom tool box is strong and BIG. Picture 7 is a shot of the wheel inside and axle at the bottom. Picture 8 the box label which peels off intact without stick residue (thanks KETER!) and Picture 8 the wheel from the outside. I hope the cap nuts that hold the wheel to the axle are strong; I would prefer a cotter pin/washer as more certain to never drop off. I will alter mine to my preference. This cap nut wheel retention is a design defect in my opinion, sure to fail soon. This KETER Mobile Hawk Cart and Stackable Tool Box System was reasonably well done. I am giving it a Limited Recommendation of 4 stars due to the issues I mention. It is sturdy for home use and holds a huge amount of tools and stuff! For a light load it will be useful.

Working man beware!
So originally purchased this and literally the minute I rolled it out the door it broke. Remaining optimistic, I returned for a new one hoping it was just poor quality control. Once I got my new replacement and got my tools in it for work i didn’t mind the many flaws. The telescopic handle is very cheap. I actually throw this thing on a dolly to spare my back. In addition the metals clips will not last a week. But I tried to overlook this to cope with the fact that I basically wasted 100$ on a toolbox I know will more than likely not last me 2 months. I do admit, the concept it great, I do like the design. The execution is very poor and not made for men who actually use their tools every day.

Okay
Really cheap overall. Cheap latches I am sorry for what I paid for this I could have added 10 dollars and bought the cheap craftsman thats 200% better than these.

Well Made!
My husband teaches dance and we needed something very sturdy to take all of our music andEquipment around. The handle telescopes down and you sit on it if needed.

Great for home use but this isn’t ideal for a job site.
This is good for home use but will not hold up on a job site. The durability of this would not withstand a lot of abuse. For starters the handle could telescope out a little more. It’s perfect for me but I’m 5’10”. If you are taller then that then you will have to lean over while trying to pull this around. It doesn’t do well when trying to push it. When I rolled it up to the side of my garage I turned it around and then tried to push it in place and the telescoping handle just wants to push back in. The handle has a little play in it to so if this is getting jerked around it’s libel to snap or break off. Another problem is the red locks that lock the top toolbox in place. As I was pulling it I somehow kicked it with the back of my foot causing me to lose my grip on the handle and it fell down. When that happened one of the red latches snapped off. I was able to slid it back in place but as you can see in my photo it’s broke. When I put the top toolbox on top and lock it in place the side I broke is really loose and don’t want to hold it in place. The side that’s not broke has a lot of play in it so it won’t take much to break it either. I was really upset about that because I just pulled it out of the box and didn’t even get to use this yet and it broke. With the toolbox being empty I don’t know how it will hold up once it’s full with tools. All the weight may just cause more damage if dropped. That’s disappointing. I do like how the red gray can come off and I can carry it wherever I need to. I can put a lot of small stuff in there like bolts and screws or wire nuts. The top toolbox is nice. It has plenty of room and the handle is great. There is metal latches to keep the lid locked down and there is a place to put a lock so tools can be protected. There is a gray inside the toolbox as well. The larger toolbox has loads of room and it also has a gray on top. I was able to fit my rotary tool in the case in the bottom of the toolbox along with a belt sander, and 2 palm sanders. There is loads of room. The gray is also nice and I put all my extra sanding belts on the gray. This toolbox also has metal latches and a place to put a lock on. The wheels are just plastic but do seem durable but only time will tell with that. All in all this is a decent setup and I have wanted one for a long time. As I already said this is perfect for at home use but if your a contractor or if this is something that will be taken to a job site to be used I would recommend something a lot more durable. This is not something that I feel will stand up to lots of abuse. If your residential electrician I would say something like this is perfect as long as your the one working out of it and not your workers.I really hope I was able to answer some of the questions you may have had about this stackable toolbox. If so it would be awesome if you could just tap that helpful icon just below. Thank you so much.
