Affordable and it works with Retropie using Raspberry PI
The media could not be loaded. I got the Logitech F310 Gamepad for my Retropie configuration using a Raspberry PI 3. The gamepad itself is lightweight and the buttons feel good to the touch as if I was using an Xbox controller. The cord is approximately 6 feet long so I just wished it was a little longer so that I don't have to sit so close to a TV.I really like the "mode" button on the controller as by default all the classic arcade games use the D-pad, but with this button you can switch between the D-pad and Joystick by simply pushing a button. Something to keep in mind if you're using Retropie is that the gamepad won't work right out of the box, as you'll need to use a keyboard or other controller to set up the button mappings, but once you do that, it'll recognize it every time you plug it in.The gamepad feels okay in your hands, but I must admit that the trigger buttons are little too stiff, but for me that's not an issue as Retropie rarely use those buttons, but if you are going to be using the trigger buttons a lot, you may not find this gamepad confortable. If you're looking for an affordable option that can get the job done you will be very happy with this gamepad, I highly recommend it.

Gets the job done
I got this controller because I wanted to play racing and flying games with the added precision and immersion that keyboard and mouse controls can't really provide. I was a bit worried that a well-made controller at this price point was too good to be true, but Logitech did not disappoint. Certainly nothing fancy in terms of features or packaging, but it's solid and reliable. The controller has a decent weight to it, which gives that feeling of quality, and the buttons and joysticks are all nice and responsive. It also is plug-and-play, as advertised, so you don't need any special drivers or software, and it'll work with most games as long as they work with 3rd-party controllers (I was disappointed to learn that Just Cause 3 only takes Xbox controllers). The triggers would benefit from a slightly wider range and/or lighter pull, since I sometimes find myself having to tense my fingers a bit to get the degree of control I want. Generally, though, it works great and is definitely worth it if you just need a simple controller for extra degrees of freedom in your games.

Smooth, solid gaming action.
Works great, solid, smooth grip with great reaction on every button. The only slight downside is the L2 and R2 are a bit smaller and stick out so getting used to them takes time, other then that a great controller for the price that runs perfect with a program like x360ce.

Worth it if its $14 or under.
Bought this for a friend who I am building a retro PI for. It is a little over kill but he also plays some PC games which will allow him to use this as well.So far there has been no issues with the refurbished controller. What's even better a day or two after I bought it, it went up in price. Which kind of sucks as I was thinking about getting him a second one for retro use, but I guess he can get it himself. All the buttons work with nothing "sticking" I also didn't notice any dead spots where the joystick will get suck in a spot and either spin the character or camera round and round.I would highly recommend saving a few bucks and getting the refurbished, if its under $14 dollars. Anything more than that you are almost better off paying for the new thing as its not really much of a savings...... Unless you don't like dealing with the impossible plastic, than by all means get this controller which comes in a nice easy open box.

Great controller
I bought this controller to use with an old scrolling game I loved: Captain Claw. My old controller wouldn't work with Windows 10. This controller works perfectly. I've been a fan of Logitech devices for years and they've never let me down. It does have a control panel that you access through the Windows Control Panel ->Devices & Printers. This allows you to calibrate and test the controller. I'm only 5'5", so my hands are rather small. This controller fits comfortably and I have no problem using the various controls.

Better than expected.
The RB button feels really stuck in, but other then that, it's not bad as a "certified" refurbished. I really like the XInput/DirectInput switch on the back of it. If you really need to save like $4 for the refurbished one, I suppose it's worth it if you have a gift card, and if you get the brand new one it goes over the amount of money the card had.

Great controller! I'm using this for BnS right now
Great controller! I'm using this for BnS right now, where there are already set functions for the buttons, but I also appreciate that controls can be set manually for each game. It can get a little overwhelming to try to program it for a pc game that uses lots of shortcuts, but as long as I set it to the most common controls and keep my keyboard and mouse handy for when I need some other controls, it works fine. I forgot what the X and D switch on the back means haha, but it's important, so make sure you check the game you're playing to see which one it should be set to, because the wrong one can make things frustrating.

but so far I LOVE it. I got it to play with PSO ...
Just got this today, but so far I LOVE it. I got it to play with PSO blue burst. it connects via USB cable, which is plenty long. no driver was required for windows 10. I just plugged it in and it worked right away. The analog sticks feel great. the D-pad is good. The triggers are a little stiff feeling, which some people might like and some people won't. all the buttons feel good. It feels like a really nice cross between the xbox 360 controller and the ps3 controller. After 3 straight hours of play just now, i have zero complaints. Really satisfying experience.
