last a long time and seems to do it job

Works great at keeping my pond water clear
This is a replacement for my UV pond filter. The bulb is a simple plug-in affair and it just works. I usually get about two seasons (years) out of them. This is the 2nd bulb from this brand I've purchased. I'm very satisifed with the quality and longevity of this particular brand.

Beyond Guardian Air Purifier
The bulb itself looked like the OEM bulb pulled from the unit, but it does not perform like it at all. I made sure to wear gloves when handling the bulb so that I didn't transfer oils from my hands to the bulb and possibly shorten it's lifespan. However, the bulb is still no where near as bright as the previous bulb.When I first powered the unit on, I noticed it took a very long time for the bulb to stop flickering and to remain a stable glow. Each time I've powered the unit off to give the unit a 24 hour break (every Sunday), I notice it does that long flicker then it steadies it glow. I made absolute sure that it was all the way inserted into it's port so I don't know if it's the bulb I received or not but I predict I'll have to purchase the OEM bulb at near $50 to avoid this issue in the future. If you need a bulb immediately then I say go for it. But if you can wait to purchase an OEM...wait.

Great OEM replacement D200 UV Bulb
This is a very good replacement bulb for my BestDealUV.com D200 UV Light that I have stashed in my A/C Air Handler. Each D200 has two bulbs. I have one D200 above the air handler in the duct and the other just perched on top of the coils inside the unit. Looking at the angled projections on the sides of the bulb made me think that I had to press in on both sides to release it - but it turned out that all I had to do was to stick a screwdriver into the square opening on the base and wiggle it in which popped the bulb up past the metal retainers. Easy going from that point. This UV light will help clean the air before it gets circulated back around.
