I removed 1 star because the plastic lid is not durable and started cracking after only a few uses. I purchased silicone lids separately from another manufacturer. This bowl makes a pretty trifle and it's easy to transport when visiting friends and family. The lack of a stem means that it fits easily in the refrigerator or thermal bag, and the lid makes travel and storage a breeze. I also bought the stemmed version which is exactly the same size bowl. It works equally well and the elevated look makes it more celebratory. The thick glass is durable and helps retain cold temperatures to keep everything fresh and tasty.

Perfect size for a trifle and since it’s not on a pedestal fits better in refrigerator. Love the fact that it has a wooden lid rather than plastic.
