Grizzly Bear Hand Puppet Light Brown, 1 EA

I bought a Folkmanis puppet as a dog toy when my dog was 8 weeks old. She is 7+ years old and that was the ONLY plush toy I had to buy for her until this Grizzly puppet. (As any dog owner knows, most dog toys last a matter of days before the dog rips through it and the stuffing comes out all over the house.) We had a house guest with a dog who ate off the eye on the old puppet and finally "killed it." Folkmanis was my absolute first choice for a new toy 7+ years later. My dog loves it (and the "Grizzly" looks eerily like my dog!) The fact that I use this puppet as a dog toy should in no way reflect badly on the puppet - it is soft, high quality, and surprisingly expressive. I know a child would enjoy watching it (though the Grizzly would be too big for a child under 8 or so to use it themselves). I actually enjoy playing with my dog with it because it is so comfortable yet padded enough that when she bites it, there's plenty of protection between her teeth and my hand. It's a lovely toy, well made, fine quality, great attention to detail.

One of the best purchases we have ever made! This is one amazing toy. He looks even better and very lifelike in person, he is amazingly high quality, his fur feels so wonderful and soft, he is so cuddly it's hard to put him down and on top of all that, he is a puppet! Can it get any better?! My daughter took him to the mall and heads were turning everywhere we went. Five different people stopped to ask if he was real including a mall guard (I guess they thought it was a fluffy dog or something) and two people asked where we bought him from and how much he cost. My daughter was ecstatic with all the attention and keeps begging to go back to the mall. At home, every moment my daughter isn't playing with this little guy we are picking him up and playing around with him ourselves lol. We are now planing to gather a collection of Folkmanis puppets and have just ordered another three folkmanis puppets from Amazon :)

Folkmanis are the best

In photo the hair colours look to be well blended. In real life looks like a bad dye job. Cut of plush around face does not make eyes stand out. Ok for a toy, but not for a working puppet.

It made a little girl very happy. Durable, cute, realistic. Perfect.

This is a very nice product. Unlike so many items that are less than promised, the grizzly puppet was even better than it looked on the Amazon product page - and it looked good there. Very realistic and good attention to details. The only thing I noticed is that, if an adult plans to use it, very large hands may not fit in the hand pocket of the puppet. Otherwise, this is an excellent toy of excellent quality. Highly recommended.

This puppet looks so realistic, has the option to just move his head or head and mouth. My students loved seeing him, petting him, and playing with him! It was harder for them to get the hang of getting their fingers in far enough to move the mouth, but that was ok with me—I was able to do it no problem—and they still loved it! Great for Grizzly Bear song and game!

He's lovely to cuddle, apart from being a puppet he's a lovely teddy bear. Soft fur, very light so he can be picked up by the smallest hands ... lovely detail, you can only puppet the mouth so if you want the arms to move too, you've got to get the brown bear from Folkmanis who's is also amazing as a lifelong friend .... I love them you wont be disappointed !

cuddly for my canadian friends

Bought this for my 16 month old grandson - he loves puppets - and this is now a firm favourite that always gets a giggle - doubles up as a really lovely teddy bear
