Quieting Your Heart : Prayer Journal - Virtue Edition

I bought this book as part of an online Bible study, and it was great. They say it takes about 21 days to make or break a habit and this is so true. With this book being a 30 day guide it really got me into the habit of reading the Bible daily and spending sometime in prayer. The pages are beautiful, and they even double as a coloring book. I really enjoyed the coloring aspect because that really helped me focus, and relax during my prayer time. There are different verses on the pages to really help you dig into the word and guide you along this journey. The book is a nice quality, and the pages are thick enough to use marker on and not effect the pages behind if you wanted to do that. The Bible Study is usually an on going one so you can def jump on board for the next one... you wont be sorry.

I have to say initially I was disappointed. I was thinking this was a "bible study" it is not. It's a "PRAYER" journal. Well that was my own fault because I did not read it correctly. Although I have never kept a official journal I am loving this. I have written letters to my children each month (with few exceptions) for future reference and to give them insight when they get older, it's tough to make parenting decisions sometimes so I journal those tough ones. Anyway this prayer journal has been a new angle in journalling for future generations. I color sometimes I write all over outside the lines it is becoming personal every day. Thank you!

We are going to be using this prayer journal and Darlene Schacht's virtue study in conjunction with some of my own material in my Teen's Sunday school class. I began using this journal in preparation for our unit "Mirroring Jesus". I love the verses added on each page and the graphics that are just waiting to be colored. Coloring is such a great way to quiet my mind before beginning a deep study of God's word. This journal also provides space for reflection on God's grace and mercy - and anything else that comes to mind.I also love that it is all KJV, unless noted otherwise. This is my favorite version.

This is a wonderful journal i wish it had a couple different sections like the other one she has included different questions then this one it would be great if there was one journal with all the questions for each day is my only complaint and its not really a complaint its a person preference .. I would 100% recommend this actually i already have to some friends it dose help with your quiet time and to see how Gods moving in your life.

I love this prayer Journal. It has a place to write your prayers, your prayer request/praise reports. It also has pages on the other side to journal what you're reading that day, who God is to you and the things that you're thankful for. In addition to that you can journals what you learned tgat day. I like the format of this prayer journal and I probably will order again.

A great book for note taking and prayer.

I loved this book. I found it on facebook and checked it out here. I really like how creative the pages are. Each page has a place to write a prayer, prayer requests, and what scripture you read. I would have liked for there to have been a place to put the date, but I just ended up creating my own.

I bought this after buying the Love Edition by the same author. I loved the Love Edition - really well put together and a beautiful book. This Virtue Edition is a cheap version but otherwise almost identical. Aside from the addition of a box on each page for prayer requests, and different scripture passages - it's identical.Nothing more than a money making exercise after the success of the first prayer journal. Really disappointed.

Great book love that you colour the pages and write and keep note about you're fave passages. I bought this book to go with an online group. We were all using these books. Well worth the money pages are lovely size and great quality.

I bought one before. and its so nice. I got one for my sister this time. I know she will love it. Nice pages to colour in. nice Questions to write in.

I love the outline of this journal and can't wait to use it soon :)
