Excellent, good quality multiplication flash cards
As an educator and tutor, I find many children struggle with their multiplication facts, and this leads to frustration in learning when they advance through the grades, especially when they are tackling complex multiplication problems and also long division. When I recall my elementary school days, I remember my teacher requiring all of us to memorize the multiplication tables from 1 through 12 and after doing so over and over through the course of several weeks, I found I could recall the multiplication tables quickly through memory work and didn't have to add the numbers as many kids do these days. It is rote memory work, but it works and I can still remember the facts till today! I wanted to start my second grade daughter on her multiplication facts and have been using these cards over the last couple of weeks. I have been encouraging her to say them out loud in full, e.g. "0 times 0 = 0" and so on, working through all the way to "12 times 12= 144" because I find that if one just calls the answer out, it doesn't quite stick in the mind. Now, I do think it is important to explain the basics of multiplication before starting this rote exercise because a child needs to understand how multiplication works. Connections can also be made, for example "Any number multiplied by zero = zero" and so on so that a child understands how numbers work when multiplied. Once the foundations are laid, rote work can begin and it is quite effective. Over the course of almost a month, my child has memorized most of the multiplication table, and at this point, she is trying to master the more difficult numbers such as the 8 times table and 9 times table. These cards are well-made of quality stock cards and of course one can laminate them if you wish them to hold up for a longer period (and if you have other children you'd like to use them with, also for classroom or homeschooling use). I sorted them out into several piles, beginning from the Zero times table till the Twelve times table, and sometimes I mix them up to ensure she has got the facts down. Another plus point in these cards is that each card has only one fact - the question is on one side and the answer is on the other which makes it less confusing. Paying a little extra for this convenience is well worth it. These cards work well with other strategies such as a multiplication matrix which helps a child see the connections (and short cuts) in multiplication facts. I also try to play some games to mix it up a little to make learning fun! The sense of accomplishment a child feels after successfully mastering multiplication facts is truly a joy to behold.

Great practice
These are solid flash cards. Good, thick cardstock that will last for a while. Font is a nice size. Rounded corners are simple, but highly effective for sorting. Overall a solid value for home practice for the kiddos.

Great Set!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like these because they include all of the multiplication problems through multiples of 12.

Fabulous!
These cards were purchased to help our son drill multiplication facts. We wanted a set that was: a. Not too large for small hands; b. Sturdy enough for repeated use; c. Includes all multiplication facts (0-12); and d. Has only one problem per card (flipside includes the problem + answer). This set was the only one I found that fit our parameters. We are thoroughly impressed with the quality of this set which is WELL worth the couple of extra $.

Nice and Sturdy cards!
These are great for my son to practice his multiplication facts. They are very sturdy cards and the box is nice for storing them as well. The reason for the 4 stars...if I’m only holding the one card up he can see through and see the answer. I also personally prefer the cards with the small answer equations on the back side in one corner. But these work and I’m pleased with them!

Very Good Flash Cards!
I've been using these with my daughter for months. They have held up excellently. I have them wrapped in rubber bands by number (2s, 3s, etc.) and they don't bend under the force of the rubber band. On the last card of a set, yes, you can see through it, but we just put the blank card (included) or another card or set of cards behind it and block it. I wouldn't want these cards any heavier, so I just don't find this a problem. This includes every combinations of numbers up to 12 x 12, which most packs lack. They are big and clear. Also, one day some of these fell out my car, and I didn't realize it till I got home. They were all over the driveway--soaked with rain! But they didn't rip, and they didn't blow away. They were warped, though they probably would have flattened if I had pressed them while wet. And more importantly, we can still use them. That speaks quality to me. What else can I say. They do their job and they do it well. I think I'll try to flatten those and then donate them to my daughter's school when we are finished with them.

Quality and format
I currently owned this company’s addition, subtraction, and division sets of flash cards. They are very well made and have only one problem per card. This is what I prefer and they stand up well to use. I’m using them to help my granddaughter improve her math skills. I have found they work extremely well.

thick, durable, easily readable
I've used these multiplication cards with tutoring students for two years. I discarded the zero and one multipliers and separated/randomized the full ring stack into groups of twenty into sections using post-it stickies. They have held up to constant usage. I have found them highly useful, durable, and readable. Bust most of all, they have helped my students improve their multiplication skills.

Great little box of flash cards. Made of strong, thick paper, clear, easy to read cards. Best part is having the same fact with the answer on the opposite side.

I use to help my little cousin and it’s really good so far. It’s a great visual aid for him and there are empty cards if you want to write in more that’s not there but I find that it has all that you need 1-12
