Pump too large for 5th wheel RV?
I feel that this this pump moves a little too much volume for my 5th wheel. I was previously running a 42 series Seaflo, which was very quiet with less cycling. I upgraded to this one to experiment with the additional volume that this supplies. Showers are definitely more powerful, but even after adjusting the bypass it still cycles a lot on low flow feeds like my RO filter (with a booster pump to insure RO gets enough pressure under all conditions). RO pressure meter fluctuates a lot with this pump.Possibly could be rectified with a accumulator tank to smooth out the cycling and absorb some of the surge from the larger flow. Ultimately I'll probably just revert to the 42 series and keep this one as the spare. No complaint against the actual pump, other than not a excellent match for my application. Seems like a very nice pump.

Better than expected... not just a cheap no name pump !
It is working very well after many months pumping water to my off grid home... and many tens of 1000s of gallons to irrigate about 10 trees on the property. I pump about 20,000 to 25,000 gallons per month. I bypassed the onboard pressure circuit switch within a week. Those never last on these RV style pumps for my application. I use a simple Square-D pump switch for that. It is the pump itself I need to push water at a reasonable rate and pressure for some time. I expect a few years of constant use from this pump. Motor and pump seem very well built. And very quiet when compared to other name brands I have been using for 7 years on this home.

very unhappy camper
We have had it for about a year, May of 2019, used it 3 times (three different trips, perhaps 10 days total), now it will not hold pressure, unit cycles on and off with no water usage (about every 3-5 minutes and I have looked for dripping faucets and leaks and we have none), and the pressure switch fails intermittently (this was the first sign of a problem), very disappointed. I have tried to contact the manufacturer and the vendor but no response. This seems like a very low quality product, the fact that the vendor and the manufacture will not return calls or emails is a big tip off that they have some real poor business ethics, take your money and run! Save yourself some grief and don't order ANY product from the vendor and/or the manufacturer. 4 YEAR WARENTY MY BUTT!!!!! One can say that they have a 4 year warranty but if you can't return the item it is all talk. When the pressure switch started to fail, I figured I would just replace the switch and not worry about it, well not an option, can't buy a switch, and I darn sure am not going to give them money for a replacement pump (I am out $118). I will buy one from someone else and file this under SCREWED!!!!

Excellent Pump - Replaces pump on my Yamaha 255 FSH
I purchased this pump when the pump on my Yamaha 255 FSH failed. This was the salt water wash down pump for my boat. Living in Central Florida were in salt water all the time, so I hope this pump holds up much better than the original factory installed pump which only lasted 2 years. Only time will tell.

Rv upgrade
I have a used 2016 G.D. Reflection Rv. When I first turned on the water pump, I knew that id wasnt staying. So looking at water pumps and give better flow, I saw this bad boy. OH yea GREAT buy. It might not last but its 100% better than stock. Way more quiet and vibration is reduce a ton. I also see some of it is from the pipino moving so Im going to insulate that in hopes of helping the noise. But this bad boy runs Nice. I havent even put in the expansion tank yet but did install valves to make it easy to do.

Pump model fails repeatedly!
I have purchased this same model pump 3 times because it has failed to work, within a week of installation. It is used to pump reverse osmosis purified potable water in a vacation house - thus is lightly used, with continuous run time generally less than 3 minutes. I discovered a poor electrical connection with the red wire that to the switch end of the pump as cause of pump failure, with the last 2 pumps. The pump would start and stop when I lightly wiggled the wire connector. By pulling the connector outward with moderate pressure the pump would run 'for a while' again - generally for less than 10 on/off cycles before losing conductivity again. I am guessing that vibration during running is cause of the failures - despite mounting the pump's rubber feet to a piece of plywood. The pressure and flow rate seem good when running and if it would stay operational - I would rate it 5 stars.P.S. I've installed and used water pumps in boats, RVs and vacation homes successfully since 1983.SEAFLO 12V 5.5 GPM 60 PSI Water Diaphragm Pressure Pump
