It is so wonderful to have an inexpensive way to get the photos from my DSLR to the cloud while on vacation. I plug this device into my Samsung Galaxy S5 and upload my photos to the cloud. That way my memories are safe from any mishap. This device comes with a power adapter which is so great considering it takes a while to upload the hundreds of photos you can take in a day on vacation. Also, post your DSLR pics to instagram by transferring them to your phone. The speed was fast and the adapter worked wonderfully! You can also plug in USB drives or MS and M2 memory cards. I used the SD card slot on my trip. I am leaving my laptop at home from now on!Tip: Be sure you undock your device before pulling it out of your phone to prevent storage errors. On my S5 I go to 'Storage' and swipe to the bottom where I see 'Unmount USB OTG storage'. Click there and accept or click "ok". Then it will tell you that you may safely remove your storage device.

Recently I purchased this from Zek LLC for a galaxy tab 12.2. The adapter was shipped quickly but unfortunately it arrived slightly damaged. Well things happen, nothing to be mad about it. I contacted the customer service and with in an hour or so the got back to me. All I have to say very nice customer service, really prompt and helpful. I would give a four stars for the adapter and that is just because the power cord is a little to short for me but otherwise the adapter is nice. The five stars it might be somewhat miss leading for some but for me good customer service is very important. If you are looking for this type of adapter is all worth it if you do not mind the short power cord.

Bought this device to transfer pictures from my camera's SD card to my phone (Samsung Note 3). First of all, the ports are USB 2.0, not 3.0, so it's already mislabeled. Second, there is NO documentation, only the product itself in an envelope. When I tried inserting my SD card in the device and plugged it into my phone, the phone failed to recognize anything. I tried restarting the phone, no effect. I did a Google search on solutions, which were to either root my phone (way beyond my skill set) or download a file management app. I tried about 6 apps, none of them did anything. To make matters worse, my card was trashed and needed to be reformatted (thankfully I had only taken 2 pictures at that point). Hope I can return this product. IF YOU HAVE A NOTE 3 DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

I could not believe that you can transfer files, folders, music, videos, photos etc. So I order 1,and for mi surprise, I can transfer files in and out with no problems, I can watch a movie with a Tom drive 32 gb, play music no problem. The only thing Is you have to format any Tom drive or any other memory to (fat 32) in order for the zek usb 3.0 otg adapter) to read. I love these adapter I will buy it again if I need to. ho I am using the adapter /w galaxy s5

I thought it was for charging and then when I got it , I realized it's for transferring information from one tablet to another tablet. or it could be for exchanging pictures or information from one tablet to another or from a phone to another.

I got the package in the same condition as a lot of reviewers. Inside a zipper pouch with no documentation.Plugged the USB 3.0 connector into the Galaxy S5, power led came on. Started ES File Explorer and then inserted the 64GB card from our Canon camera. All files on the card were read and transferred. ES File Explorer is set as default app.So far so good. This is a backup for NFC transfer of pictures.

The socket is so hard to attach to my notepro, and i thought this can read external hard drive too, but it did not.

This cool item works good and solves the process of moving movies to or from my tablet.😎 But fails to recognize 32gig and up SD cards
