Give up Microsoft please i'm begging you. You are totally useless at making phones. The only way I could see these constant failures that Microsoft refers to as lumia phones still making it to production... I mean SERIOUSLY google or apple has got to be paying someone to purposely get these phones as wrong as possible.If you use this phone's operating system you realize within a matter of minutes (EVEN IF you've never used or liked windows phone before) that this should be the defacto standard for how a smart phone OS's UI generally works. But then in steps the microsoft mole and removes the dedicated camera button.... I mean SERIOUSLY? What kind of idiotic thinking would lead microsoft toward the conclusion that the least popular mobile phone platform on the planet could afford to remove THE ONE FEATURE that allows it a fighting chance to be better than the other competing phone companies? *sigh of utter disgust and frustration* Doesn't anyone at microsoft realize how convenient it is to simply reach for your phone and hold down 1 button while your phone is totally locked and in standby mode and still be able to snap a photo or record something or better still lend your phone to someone to take a photo of you without ever risking them viewing your other photos since the phone doesn't have to be unlocked to use the camera? This is easily the best feature of any lumia phone and it should remain on ALL of them. #FAIL!The things they can't get right are so obvious and sooooo glaring and sooooooo incredibly annoying it will probably take an entire day to list them all in 1 review. Just to give you an idea here are some examples...The phone switches off during phone calls because they couldn't be bothered to code the screen's touch feature to also be disabled when the proximity sensor detects that you've placed the phone to your ear... EVEN THOUGH the screen goes blank. I mean seriously why would you still have the end call button active if the screen is blank and I can't even see what's on it? Isn't it obvious that it will cause the phone to end calls or power off in the middle of conversations? There are a million stupid things that result from the face proximity sensor being stupidly designed and each one of them will manifest all day long and piss you off endlessly.This phone CANNOT be switched off and left to charge. It's impossible... Try it! It will keep powering back on FOREVER once the charger is in.The phone hijacks the "end call" feature during most calls by sending you into an infinite loop where after a conversation you realize that the in call menu has been minimized to the top of the screen. Funny thing is if you try to tap on it where it says tap to expand so you can get back the ability to end a call guess what happens... the stupid face proximity sensor makes the screen go blank before your finger gets close enough to tap on the thin bar to maximize the in call menu so you have to move your finger away, and back, and away, and back until you decide to sneak your finger up from the side and "pounce" on the maximization bar to finally be able to end your call. Imagine if you had just dialed an overseas number by mistake how far your credit can reach while you do this silly dance with the phone just trying to end a call.More of the same stupidity can be seen if you hit the rotation lock function and then open the calculator... rotation lock? What rotation lock?Love your friend's ringtone or want to download a special mp3 for your ringtone? Sure no problem it's pretty easy to get it downloaded via WiFi or bluetooth. Just wait till you realize you can't actually make it a custom ringtone unless you connect it to a computer via a data cable basically turning your phone into an external hard drive before you can move your downloaded files into your ringtone folder. I mean SERIOUSLY how stupid is it to have to deal with this backward nonsense on an OS by a company that boasts capabilities like "continue..ummm"?Then we have to talk about the apps. #facepalm. You just have to spend 5 minutes with any lumia phone and you start to ACTUALLY wonder if microsoft has any employees in their mobile dept on staff EVER at all. Everything is either in beta or functions like beta software. (including the OS at times). Imagine they target business users with these phones yet they expect business owners to be ok with a facebook app that is completely incapable of notifying you that your page has received a new message. Annoyingly the app never misses an opportunity to wake you up with sleep shatteringly loud alerts for pointless stupid useless sh#$% like "do you know this person" suggestions. This is the case with every social media app for windows phone. They're all hilariously backward by any standard even though windows phone is a FULLY MATURE OS that has been through enough version updates to get all of this stuff right ESPECIALLY for a tech company as old and as capable as microsoft.It actually is so irritating that I wish google would purchase windows phone mobile and make it a lower end offering for people who don't need the bells and whistles of the more popular OS's but just need a solidly built reliable business phone. AND I HATEEEEEEEE GOOGLE PRODUCTS.Shame on you Microsoft you will not get another penny out of me until you start making products that represent your company's true potential. I just wish there was a way to send microsoft the bill for what will inevitably be my first iPhone purchase.

This really is a great phone. I love that it fits perfectly in my hand. It lightweight composed to the other phone I've had. I have a flexible car case on it and no matter how many times I drop it it didn't break. I do have a very small crack but that happened before I got the case. The only thing don't like is that I don't get every app that the iPhone or Android phone can get. If they would only for those minor issues I would rate this phone 5/5

A bit laggy

Purchased this on release day. I was really pulling for you MS. Wanted this to be a great phone. Worst smart phone I have ever had. This is coming from a several generation Windows phone user. Buy some nice running shoes instead and use them to get away from this phone.

Gotta give them some credit. It's there best looking device lol. Still lacking as far as specs. Funny this is on Amazon for over 300.00 when you can buy it off contract, unlocked from Microsoft for 199.99.

My 640 screen cracked so I bought the 650 from the Microsoft store for $200. The phone is really light and thin. I don't game on it so I can't speak for it's gaming performance. I use twitter and instagram and web and the phone works well. I still get regular updates so the os gets better with each one. Screen is excellent. All phones should use OLED.
