Sometimes tiny is better. I love Lock & Lock and was delighted to find these extra small holders. There are so many uses. If I've made a delicious sauce and have a bit left, it's great to have a really small container that isn't going to take up much fridge space. They also work great as cold packs when filled with water and frozen. They don't take up much room in a lunch bag or insulated grocery bag. They don't leak so when the ice melts that's not a problem. Of course they are great for salad dressing on the side when taking a salad for lunch if you want a really secure holder. I have some 2 oz jello shot containers that I like for dressing, but I carry them inside the larger L&L box holding the salad. But if someone else is providing the salad and you want to supply your own dressing or your salad greens are in a bag, you really need something more secure to carry the dressing, like these.When I work outside in the summer I find those mosquito repellent bracelets hllp but the repellent is only effective for a limited time--longer than one work session to be sure, but by the time they'd often 'run out' before the next work session until I figured out to put the bracelet in one of these little containers between uses. Because the containers are air-tight, the bracelet lasts many weeks now.Another great use is peeled garlic. When I peel a whole head of garlic so I'll have extra peeled cloves on hand for quick use, the smell permeated the fridge until I started putting them in one of these containers. Now no odor and when the container is washed it doesn't retain the smell either.I've since bought more because four isn't enough. They are great for thumb tacks or small nails, pins in my sewing drawer and other small things like snaps and hooks.If you make your own baby food, these are a good size for that or as a container for cheerios in your purse for a toddler snack.I've heard others complain about the tabs breaking on other makes of containers, but I've never had that happen with L&L. I have many different sizes and use them for everything so I couldn't resist these little bitty 3 oz ones and will gratefully now toss out the grocery store equivalent that weren't all that great.

Lock n Lock is the best & I find these little 3 oz size convenient for so many things. I try to always have 4 to 6 of them on hand because they are in the freezer for one thing or another. I never use a full can of tomato paste & squeeze fresh lemon juice before a lemon goes bad so I can freeze things like this for later. However, if you order - take the day off because each one of these little guys has 4 (yes. 4) sticky labels on each that needs to be removed:-)

I use these small containers with reliable lids for organizing everything while jewelry making (beading). I was disappointed that what I have been using for this were not available, which were smaller, cube shaped containers made by the same manufacturer. I ordered these because they are also small, though not as small as the others, and I know this manufacturer makes excellent products. These have turned out to be even better choices than the cubes. These containers do not tip over easily, they are really stable, which is an issue because my cat has to be in the middle of everything. I would buy these again from this same seller. Great product.

Very solid seal!

I selected this item for the leak-proof capability. It's hard to find 100ml leak-proof containers in this size. It does pretty well. I can fill it up with water and shake it around or throw it and I don't detect any leaks. But when I took it on an airplane, the pressure change did cause it to leak.

I really like these containers. I use them to bring sauces and dressings to work. I just love the size. They keep things sealed very well. I do want to mention that on a few of mine, some of the little tabs that lock have broken off, which is a real bummer. I purchased three sets of these. Two for myself (at different times) and one for a gift. I have not heard any response from the gift I gave. I never checked to see if they would replace them.

I use these little containers in my lunch box for coffee creamer, or salad dressing and I love that they do not leak. Lock and Lock containers are great that way. If you purchase the larger size, do not microwave any tomato based sauces, and they will look like new. I also prefer to hand wash rather than put these in the dishwasher. Great for such boxes, camping trips, carrying medications, etc.
