Q: Will this work on clear bags?

I dont know. I have used this only on wood

Q: If using this to sign prints/photographs, will it smear/smudge for left-handers?

I am left handed and it works fine. It does stay wet for a minute, but it works for me.

Q: Could this be used on plates for eating? Are there instructions with it for using it for that application?

Instructions are easily found online for proper usage. I believe, however, that after using the pen it needs to be cured in the oven at 350* for approximately 30 minutes. After allowing to cool thoroughly a plate or whatever is then dishwasher safe and can be used for eating. Please be sure to check on my directions online at Pinterest or other site to confirm. Hope this helps. I love the idea, I wrote words relating to Thanksgiving (peace, love, family) in my own handwriting and it looks great!

Q: Does this dry up or leak paint after several uses? I spend way too much money in paint pens!

I've had this brand in the past and mine have always lasted me a long time without drying out. Eventually it will, but mine worked for years. I've never had any leaking and these new ones haven't leaked either. Hope that helps
