Cafe Naviera Cuban Style Dark Roasted Coffee - 12 pack

If you like a smooth dark coffee, for the money it doesnt get better, seriously. You can pay twice the price for better or you can pay less for not. It truely has hints of chocalate, yes chocolate. Some say it and it tastes like cocoa, but not Navier. Now that I have told you the secret, dont buy it all up 😅

Naviera is a top notch coffee

The total weight of this 12 pack of Naviera Cuban Style Coffee is listed as 12 pounds. So that would be 16 ounces per package if true. It isn't true. The packets are the standard size of Naviera, 14 ounces each. That means I was shorted two ounces per package in comparison to the advertised weight and that adds up to a total of 1 and a half pounds of coffee not provided. I decided on my purchase based on this being the best price per ounce. It wasn't. I feel cheated out of a pound and a half, which translates to a package and a half of the regular (or actual) package volume and weight.The coffee is Naviera, my favorite dark roast with chicory, as represented. But the weight must be corrected from the false listing on the Amazon site.

I purchase Naviera coffee at La Segunda Cuban Bakery each time I’m in Tampa. Rich flavor. Makes delicious cafe con leche. Great to be able to purchase online.

Faltó frescura

I have been buying this coffee for over 40 years. I used to live in Tampa and would buy directly from the roasters in Ybor City. Once I moved to the west coast I continued to buy this product although always directly from Naviera. This time I bought through Amazon. Of the 24 bags that I ordered 5 were not vacuum sealed like they are supposed to be. I contacted the shipper that Naviera uses and they only responded that the order had been delivered. They did not address the fact that there were 5 defective bags. I could have purchased directly from Naviera and saved money (my mistake for not comparing prices). If you want excellent Cuban coffee buy this but not from Amazon. Fortunately Amazon is going to refund the money paid for the 5 bags. Gotta love Amazon!
