Ordered this because it has no PFAS or weird coatings according to Consumer Reports. It works well; it’s a bit thicker than the floss I’m used to but fits between my teeth fine. I’ve had it break while flossing once or twice (I’m on my third roll) but overall I’m happy with it

This is the best floss in the world. I could never bare to floss because of how polluting those nylons lines are, that end up choking and strangling marine and wild life. This biodegrades, and it is vegan because it comes from peace silk (from caterpillars who have already completed their metamorphosis, so not requiring the death of an insect). You can tell it biodegrades because it occasionally breaks if you floss a certain way — this has really not been an issue, it is an infrequent event for me and a good reminder that this is what it says it is. But what I really appreciate is that the company is coherent with the goals of the sustainable product, by wrapping it in a sustainable packaging. The floss glass jar with refills is very sustainable, and these refills come packaged in sawn candelilla wax paper bags inside a cardboard box. And Amazon is also getting the message since this was delivered in their fully craft paper paper-pulp-lined recyclable mailers! We're making progress. This is a terrific floss, it makes me want to floss every day because it's not my teeth vs the environment.

As someone who's trying to make more sustainable improvements, I wanted a less harmful alternative and will NEVER go back!!! Now, I do not have the refillable glass holder, which proved a bit awkward at first. However I just use a small pair of bathroom scissors. Works for me! My only qualm is that if you floss every day, you will go through one roll in about a week or two. I feel that they're a little pricey, considering that they don't last long...but ultimately, I'd rather not buy the nylon junk encased in a chunk of plastic.

I have ordered this more than once and the original quality was good but the most recent order is breaking regularly. Almost every time I use it, it breaks.
