I purchased this sling for a patient recovering from a stroke that left his right arm paralyzed. At first glance, it might seem a little complex, but with a bit of practice, my patient was able to put it on independently using his non-affected hand. I purchased this arm sling for my elderly father who had broken his upper arm. He was instructed by the doctor to keep his arm in a sling to keep it immobilised. After trying a few different slings without much success, he found this sling the most comfortable and easy to wear, even with the use of only one arm. Highly recommended.
