The book is awesome. The product arrived on time and in great condition.

I know there are not many Romanian language books on the market, but I do not recommend this particular book. While the book presents fairly good sections on pronunciation, gender of nouns and present and past verb conjugations and a few other fundamental concepts, all of the useful information is presented in the first 90 pages. It doesn't present so much basic information any beginner would want and strangely includes about 150 pages of double-spaced vocabulary terms with only EIGHT words per page. It's such a bizarre waste of space.I wish the book focused on the high-frequency words, grammar and constructions a beginner is most likely to need. Instead, there are very strange choices like dedicating dozens of pages to countries of the world, fractional numbers, highly specific weather and geographical feature vocabulary, etc. Yet, there is no section on common adjectives and forming descriptions. I want to be able to say "This town is beautiful" or "I am cold" before I can say "three sevenths," "camel," or "tributary" (all real examples of what is and isn't in this book).This book has many more shortcomings. Anyone who has studied other languages with better resources will immediately notice that this book does not seem to have been written by someone trained in language acquisition or pedagogy. Savvy consumers will be disappointed in a book that falls far short of aligning with the actual communicative needs of a beginning learner. I applaud the author for at least producing a Romanian language book, but I'm sorry to say I recommend researching your other options before resorting to this one.

Very good for beginners! Gives you a basic understanding of Romanian grammar and vocabulary. Could use more verb conjugations, though.

There are a lot of typos, in both English and Romanian. It’s ok for a general understanding if you’re more intermediate and can spot the errors.
