I bought this FortiAP 231F for my Fortigate 70F. I didn't know the power adapter was not included with this FortiAP unit. So for $161.00 I had to order a separate Fortinet Brand GPI-130 for PoE. I wasn't willing to buy a mongrel PoE adapter in fear of frying the FortiAP. I'll update this review when i'm able to set this up.Edit: I increased rating to 4 stars. This FortiAP 231F works perfectly as expected with purchased PoE injector. It's kind of silly not getting a plug in wall power adapter. This is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.

I purchased one of these from another vendor. The hardware was OK, and it runs a fairly solid embedded Linux, but it's impossible to get good support from FortiNet. The so-called Technical Support people ran me in circles for almost two weeks where they couldn't determine the problem and were afraid to escalate the issue to someone who might be able to solve it. I asked to have the ticket escalated and it took two weeks to get a response.If solid Wireless connectivity is critical to your business, look elsewhere.
