This mold worked great and made very cute little apples. I had originally given it 3 stars because I thought I only got one mold and because it didn’t sit flat. After making a few batches of chocolate apples, I realized that there were actually 2 molds….stuck together so tightly that I thought it was just one. Taking them apart also allowed them to sit flat. The candy came out just fine after that. I will say that you have to make sure to get enough melted chocolate on the area that connects the stem to the apple. If you don’t, the stem will break off when you remove it from the mold. I attached some little green chocolate leaves that I made in a mold from Hobby Lobby. I’ll put each apple in a mini cupcake liner. Perfect!!
