They do not appear to be made of clay, but are good quality plastic type beads with plenty of elastic and letters to make necklaces and bracelets. My grandson has made loads.

Not clay beads - they’re plastic
Bought these thinking they were made from clay, but are actually plastic. My son still enjoys using them, though.
