Flexible and beefy, but the 12 AWG is more realistically 14 AWG.
This is good wire as speaker wire, but buyer beware if you are intending to use it for something requiring a higher capacity. Take note that this is Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) wire and not solid copper. If you cut and test 1m of this wire (assuming it to be 14 AWG) it has a resistance more similar to that of aluminum than that of copper.

Thick Insulation
12ga seems accurate, but the insulating is very thick, to the point that putting insulated crimp terminals on the wires requires shaving the insulation to make it fit in the terminals. It's great that they're well insulated, but depending on your application, you might encounter some issues because of that.
