Joyful Expressions: Inspirational Coloring Book Paperback – March 20, 2016

This is a sweet book with lovely drawings and I would have given it a 5 star except the pictures are on front and back of page and I do not like that. There are many small letters that need filling in and a gel pen or fine-tipped marker seems to work best for me with this. However, if you are not careful about pressure on pen or depth of color, a shadow will show through on the other side. I like coloring in this book so much, though, that I have just been cautious of color of pen and amount of pressure. Pages are not perforated, pictures on both sides of page, pictures do not intrude into spine, paper lighter than some books but not flimsy. The drawings match the verses nicely. There are no "filler" pages- my word for random designs just dropped in a book to take up space but do not pertain to subject- so this pleases me. I use my colored pencils of all brands in this book for actual coloring and they do beautifully. I would and will seek more books by this author and or publisher

I am enjoying this adult coloring book. It helps to de-stress and at the same time it is encouraging because of the scriptures.I wish the paper was a bit thicker and that the pictures were on just one side each page. I would recommend placing some sort of thin cardboard or thick paper behind the page you are coloring so that there isn't any transfer of color. (I've been using colored pencil and I just noticed that one page has some transferred color on it from working on a previous page.)Overall I recommend this coloring book. It's really nice to have and like I said earlier it is encouraging.

My wife is a Craft Designer and uses the adult coloring books. She has many of them and many different coloring mediums. She loves this one. She is so happy to finally get a coloring book that has KJV Bible Scriptures. She is hoping that Darlene makes more of them. A couple of tips from her for Darlene are, use heavier paper next time and make the images one sided.

While I love to color and especially love that there are scriptures this is not the quality I was hoping. It has blurred images and it's double sided print, I like to use ink markers and it bleeds through. I was hoping to color and frame. It's not that sort of thing but great scripture reference and fun with other mediums like crayons

Love this coloring book. Love the versus and pictures you can color. Only one thing I wish is that the book was bigger size like 8×11. Other than that it is great and worth it.

Was excited to get this coloring book. Many beautiful designs to choose from; it was hard to pick which page to color first! There were a few designs I didn't care for, but that's to be expected with any coloring book. Other coloring books I've gotten seem a little sturdier than this one, but all-in-all, it's a great coloring book and I would definitely buy it again.
