Closed on the sides, closed on the bottom, fits standard 13 gallon bins, pretty yellow draw string is good and secure and goes well with the basic white of the bag (use only before Labor Day). Comes in 4 rolls of 25. Yep, it's a bag. Was going to give it 4 stars (it is a BAG!), but then started testing it for resisting the stresses I usually put on a garbage bag. With the price of trash bags spiraling upward and the quality of offshore products following the new "thinner is better" standard, I thought I would give these a try.I've gone through about half the box and am pleased with the results. Not one has split at the seams or was punctured by normal volumes of trash. They stretch without tearing and I've packed a few pretty tightly.They are not as heavy duty as the previous generation of Force Flex bags with the stippled sections, but perform better than the newer Glad product at a lower price.The low price and free Amazon shipping make this a great buy.

Have you been asking yourself, "why is Hefty no longer strong?" Are you no longer glad about Glad bags? It seems like my favorite brands have been using gimmicks touting "thin bag" technology as stronger and better. But I just ended up with bags that leaked or ripped. I'm dumping them for Bilt-tuf! These bags come in a large pack that should last me a year. The draw strings do not break when I take out the trash. They do not leak in my trashcan. And they don't rip when I fill them up. Perfect!

I dislike spending a lot of money on trash bags. After all, you're just going to throw it out, right? However, I don't want to deal with the mess that can result from cheap bags that tear and leak. These trash bags are fairly sturdy. They will rip at the top if you overload them, but the ties are strong and overall they are a good buy. As a plus,they fit my Simplehuman trash can.

I am pleased with the quantity and quality of the product received and will continue to order it since it lasts a great deal longer than having to run to the grocery store every few weeks to get trash bags!

For years I had bought this size bag in the Glad brand. Recently, Glad cheapened their bags...well, they cheapened the quality, but didn't lower the price! Anyway, these bags are a great substitute for the "old" Glad bags. They're just as strong, easy to open, and very reasonable.
