Restaurantware 1.25 Ounce Portion Scoop, 1 Trigger Release Stainless Steel Cookie Scoop - With Black Handle, Stainless Steel Disher, For Portion Control, Cookie Dough, Cupcake Batter, Or Ice Cream

Bought this to use for both myself (right-handed) and my fiancé (left-handed) while baking. We love the scoops it makes and how greatly it works, but the scoop size is a bit large for our liking. We've used it to bake cookies, and they came out enormous! Not necessarily a complaint, but I wish it was a bit smaller.

This scoop is not a true 2 oz . When I measured 2 oz of water and placed it into the scoop it didn't hold the full amount. I would say it is more like 1.5 oz. I have a 2 oz scoop that does hold 2 oz of water. Broke and replaced with this and definitely smaller

I ordered these a couple of weeks ago and when they arrived I was really impressed. They are nicely made from a heavy metal material, very sturdy. The mechanism is smooth and can be used by either hand, I purchased them for scooping cookie dough but I have not used them yet. I really like the bright colors. It makes cooking fun. However I think the real purpose is to designate a different size for each color. It makes it quicker to find the one you need without having to read the size on the side of each scoop. I would recommend these to others.
