I took my time to use the 2" topper before writing the review. After a month of sleeping on it, I recommend buying, keeping a few things in mind and managing expectations. Firstly, yes, when it arrives it appears to be of the wrong size (looks shorter on both sides and compress-creased to the degree of appearing damaged at the bend spots - after it fully expands over a week, it reaches the right size and compression creases disappear as well, so do not fret if you see something like that). Secondly, it expands better and faster in the sun, so put in on the balcony or in the backyard after it arrives. Unfortunately, when it fully expands, it becomes bigger then the queen mattress, so a made bed never looks great. Thirdly, it does have a chemical smell when it comes - the smell was clearly discernible. I have multiple environmental sensitivities and couldn't use it for the first 3 days. After 3 days on the balcony in the sun I still could sense the smell but was OK to sleep on it. In the hindsight, if you can wait for a week before sleeping on it, you will be better off since it will expand fully. Now, if you are thinking about sleeping on the cloud, it is not that soft. It is not hard either, it is simply supportive. I tried the 2" natural latex topper of the softest variety before this traditional foam topper, and the latex was harder. I tried a memory foam topper that was softer but it simply created indentation of the body and do not offer the support and comfort for a long time (note: I am 200lbs on 5'3" pear shape frame). As any foam, the topper sleeps warm but this can be mitigated by a thin cotton pad or by putting several sheets over it. I personally use 5 sheets and it feels right:) I am using the topper on a 6 month old mattress that sagged after 3 months and caused me back pain (hence, I already tried the memory foam topper and the latex topper before I got this one). With this topper, I can sleep well again. Not sure how the foam will last, however, at this price point and usage rate I am confident that it will last long enough to justify the cost.

I purchased the king size ventiled foam topper. It's complete junk. It's so compressed that the ends never inflated to the 2 inch size after unwrapped. There are ridges in the places where it had been folded that also never came out after opening. Finally, it's not a consistent density throughout which defeats the purpose of it being used to add more comfort to a mattress.And of course, you can't discover any of these deficiencies until you open it, after which it's too large to put back in the box to return. So overall the quality of this product is super low and I would absolutely not recommend you purchase this.Luckily, Amazon, which has great customer service as usual, offered us a refund for this terrible product, even though we were unable to find a box big enough to ship it back in. Thanks Amazon! No thanks to Lucid who is manufacturing and selling a subpar product for a super inflated price.

Knowing how expensive foam can be even bought in cut to order bulk stores, this was a pleasant surprise. Just firm enough to give light people (≤ 75 Kg) a sense of support and cushion, but not enough to over bulk a premium topper mattress so deep pocket sheets won't fit. The premium topper 12" mattress with this on top still allows me to use 16" deep pocket fitted sheets.On the other hand I'm ≤ 150 Kg and though lying down I felt it pushing up in lower back area, it was a soft gently push and not an overtly shove in the back. I prefer hard mattresses and these toppers were for a visiting family member who prefers soft to medium firmness. They said, it was just perfect.When piercing the bag with their included tool, be quick about it because it can expand very quickly once the packing bag is punctured. I bought two. The first I nicked it and it began expanding in the bag making running it down harder as it kept pushing up against the tool as I tried to run it down. The second one, I got in a better position and in almost a single motion, I zipped the tool along the whole one side. The topper includes a blown fibre sheet meant to keep it from sticking to the bag.If we make the bed with the fibre sheet included, the sheets slip off easier. Best to remove it to help keep the sheets in place.

Purchased to put on our pull our couch for guests. Had nothing but good reviews. Because it is memory foam it even folds down into the couch with ease. It fluffs back up in about 2 hours when you open it before use.

Mattress not as comfy as I thought it would be. The foam is too firm for my need. I bought it for my pregnancy because it’s hard enough to find a comfortable position when you sleep and you get rib and back pain on a firm mattress. This mattress helps a little, but I still end up getting up feeling unrested with a stiff back and rib ache.
