Easy to follow
A little challenging to play for beginners, but good to be pushed.

Wonderful & Accessible 💚
This songbook features 19 accessible songs; it is not simplistic, but has just the right amount of challenge/sophistication for level 2B students. With keys in C, G, and F, every song requires chords in the left hand with some practice at the beginning of each song section. (I am near the end of Adult Piano Adventures, book 1, and this is perfect for my level.) 🥳

Great for liesure
We have had these for at least 6 years and they are still going strong. These Faber and Faber books have something for every level that has made my kids want to practice more just for fun. Occasionally lessons have been taught out of them, but I have tried to keep them as leisure so they have some fun choice about what they play and aren’t being graded or told what to do. It works! It is like having extra reading books around at their level when they are learning how to read. Just be sure to pick the books at or below their level. They love playing ones below the current level of learning because they can do it with confidence, yet they are still learning so it promotes “fluency”.

The ChordTime series provides great experience with harmony
The ChordTime series provides great experience with harmony, offers opportunity for transposition, and helps teach improvisation. Good variety in song choice as well.

Fantastic for the beginner, lots of favorites
I purchased this along with the Playtime and ShowTime hymns for myself and our family worship time as I relearn the piano. This is definitely my favorite of the three. Lots of familiar songs, and a full-sounding arrangement at low skill level. I took lessons for a few years as a kid, and thought I remembered nothing, but was able to pick this up and play through it with very little practice. Well laid out, with songs grouped by key, and progressing in difficulty.
