The only good thing about this product is the sturdiness. It would've been a super easy product to install if they have given you the right hardwares. I am a very skilled person with assembling and repairing things and it still took me a few hours to put this together. The bolt screws are cheap, the washers and screws we're mislabeled and it didn't provide me with the right screws and washers for my TV. I had to drive to Home Depot halfway during the assembly to get the right screws and washers.

I put up two 43” Samsung televisions very easily. If you can’t find a stud, you shouldn’t be hanging a television. I located my studs with a stud finder and tested with a tiny drill bit to find the center of the stud. This mount went up great. All four bolts went into the studs, the arms attached to the television like butter on bread. I hung them myself and I am no DIY champion. I own a drill, a ratchet set, a stud finder. The mount comes with a level! Really easy, really sturdy, and a good value.

Firstly, this mount tells you to use the middle 4 bolt holes onto studs. Well our studs are not that close together. We had to use the first and third holes. Secondly, the tv that my boyfriend wanted to put up was an older samsung tv. It has a lip at the bottom so the top holes wont line up with the first holes that are predrilled on the mount, I'm taking one star off for that. So we decided to use my Insignia tv. The screws that are given to us are both too big to use on that tv. So now since it's too much of a hassle to send the damn thing back because of this pandemic going on right now, I guess we have to make a trip to home depot to get the correct screws, I'm taking off 2 stars just for that. The hardware is also labeled wrong so that's another star off.

This mount is nice if you want a tight fit of the TV to the wall. Measure twice, cut once. I know that sounds cliche, but it couldn't be more true when it comes to mounting a Television. I needed to go to the hardware store to get some longer bolts to replace the ones provided with the mount for my Samsung TV. Thankfully, I had a screw size measurement tool, so that wasn't an issue for me. Double check the measurements as I said and you might be wise to use an additional alignment tool then one provided on the mount.

My husband had no problem putting this up. However, the the bolts it came with were not long enough to reach the wall. Good thing we had some extra in the tool box or we would have had to make a trip to the hardware store. Nevertheless it wasn't a huge deal. This is hanging up above our mantel and holding a 50" Samsung. Its been a week a no problems with it thus far. Would recommended.
