Great but be careful, speed loss when using adaptor the 'wrong way round'
I have a Samsung 970 EVO Plus in a housing. When I used this cable straight into a USB-C PCI-e card, data transfer speeds were OK, as expected etc... When I put the little USB-A adaptor on and went into a USB-3 card the drop in transfer rates was almost illegal ;-)I contacted the seller and they were so helpful and pointed out the cable/adaptor combo only works full speed 'one way round'.. I reversed the adaptor on the cable and speeds came back.

Works flawlessly on my MacBook Pro
I've found the Amazon Basics version of this lead and some others tend to disconnect my external drives when I move my laptop (carefully) from my lap to the table. This one doesn't and would require a more substantial knock to accidentally eject my drives.So I like this and would highly recommend so far.

Zero Problems - Works Well For My Needs
A number of reviewers have observed that the speed isn't so great with the adapter but I've not noticed this for my own use (bearing in mind working from home all the time over the last year).
