Ark of God: The Incredible Power of the Ark of the Covenant

An Enjoyable Read
As always, David Childress has presented an entertaining, enjoyable read. Though perhaps not as much in-depth detail as Graham Hancock's The Sign & the Seal, Childress nevertheless delivers an interesting, well-illustrated book. Fast reading, as are all the other books I've read by him. (PS - The publisher must've gotten a better quality of proofreaders, as I only counted 5 typos in this particular book. Others have literally dozens!)

The Many Mysteries of the Ark
I was shown this book by the author himself shortly after it was released. I have read many books by David Hatcher Childress, and consider him the "Real Life Indiana Jones," and of course, what was the film character Indiana Jones searching for? The Ark of the Covenant, of course! It's about time David Hatcher Childress wrote this book. This book takes a look at the historical origins of the Ark, as well as the many mysteries, myths, and magical properties of the "Holy of Holies" that may be the greatest artifact from antiquity -- for all of times!~Brad Olsen, Author of "Modern Esoteric: Beyond Our Senses"

Sensible and balanced summary of what is known about the arc(s).
Some of Childress's books are rather 'wild', he tends to accept unscientific notions too easily, possibly because that is what sells books, but this one is mostly sensible and reasonable and gives a balanced review of what is known, what is said, and of the various theories of what happened and where the arc may be now. On the whole this is a good effort on a difficult subject, and it is not easy to see what he could have done better. He makes the interesting point that the Israelis possibly had two arks, one containing the tablets, the other a "war-ark" or weapon of some kind. The book is well illustrated, including a colour section. Recommended.

Read the Bible
Just need to read the Bible to learn about the ark of the covenant. Mr Childress needs to reassess his analysis based on fact the earth is flat. Ever wondered how water is flat on a lake and decides to curve around the earth in an ocean! Barking up the wrong tree. Lots of irrelevant nonsense. Mount Sinai, Jebel al-lawz, has been located by Ron Wyatt and Jim Caldwell with all the picture evidence. It all falls into place being located after the Gulf of Aqaba, Nuweiba beach, the location of the Red Sea crossing.Being God's adversary, the world has concealed the true site. This is not the only revelation occurring not in mainstream news.Ron Wyatt discovered the ark of the covenant, the red sea crossing at Nuweiba beach. He has also located Noah's ark and sodom and gomorroh. The Urim and Thummim have been discovered. All is in place to build the third temple. There are earthquakes and natural disasters all over the earth. Few reported in mainstream news. KJV Bible prophecy is that there will be a false christ saying he is god and three and half years later the real Jesus Christ will come down from heaven above. We are also now presented with solid evidence that the earth is "flat" and stationary as stated by God in the KJV Bible. People need to start taking notice bear in mind "the world" is a force against God and does all it can to conceal God. The second coming of Jesus will not be a silent affair like the first. The whole world will suffer like a woman giving birth. There will be a big battle at Megiddo when Jesus will come down from the clouds and destroy satan and his allies and he will rule over the earth for 1000 years.
