Whisper quiet fan
I set up a pair of these in series to replace a single 24V fan that made an LED fixture obtrusively loud. The MIni-Kaze's really are close to silent, exactly what I needed for the application. I've bought a few of them, quality seems to be consistent.

bearing noise
Bought this when adding a heat sink and this fan to a Yamaha R 2000 X Amplifier receiver. After half an hour of operation the bearing noise was noticeable as a high pitched whine. At higher volumes this whine would not be noticeable; in a computer, this noise would be equivalent to coil whine of a GPU. But daymn, noise ain't music. I eventually unplugged and went with just the heat sink. Pretty disappointed.
