This comes in TWO pieces. The top part is threaded and screws into the bottom part. It is pretty flimsy. I wouldn't purchase another one. There are sturdier flag holders at Amazon.

I think you would need something to attached the sign to the pole for it to hang, like a little piece of chain. Otherwise I don't think it would work.

Come undone

They spun around in the wind and come undone . Not overly impressed with these. The ones that are all one structure are 100 percent better

Broken vertical shaft connector

The weld failed on the vertical shaft connector. A spot weld isn't sufficient to hold this piece together. I have carried out a temporary repair with Gorilla glue. The overall structure is too light for the intended purpose. Probably needs 3/8 inch diameter steel rods.
