Pleasantly surprised
I bought this book as my husband wanted to overhaul the way we ate, and boy has it worked. We’re 19 days in and can honestly say we’ve enjoyed everything so far. At first glance there do appear to be a lot of ingredients in the recipes but when you plan the week out, you can see there are many common items. I write a shopping list based on the week ahead’s planned menu and don’t deviate, that way we’re not tempted to cook our old meals!! Some meals take a bit of advanced prepping and others not so much. But generally most take 15-20 mins from start of cooking to food on plate. I like the way that you choose what you eat based on whether you’re training or not, rather than traditional breakfast, lunch or dinner options- Has certainly made our meals more interesting. everything has been easy to make and lots can be frozen if you like to batch cook. I’ve bought the next 2 books and am now looking forward to completing the 30 days and moving onto the next stage.

Good for the single man
All these recipes are healthy and the portion sizes are for 1-2 people. This makes it ideal for sad people like me who live on their own and spend most of their life down the gym, desperately trying to improve the way they look so they can get a half decent girlfriend one day.

Excellent recipes that really do only take 15 minutes. Super tasty and even our kids like the recipes so we are very impressed.

Huge list of ingredients
First things first don't be scared off with the high amount of ingredients because you will get used to it but please do not think you will be making these meals in 15 minutes or less, that is a seriously gross under estimate of how long the food takes to cook, the chopping of the ingredients takes 15 minutes to prepare. The workouts are good and I can see where you could build muscle and loss body fat as long as you keep up the workout.
