Mike presents well. A good structure to follow, and I found great value for money for a self-paced study guide for preparing for the CISSP exam. The practice tests I found invaluable in continually testing what I was studying as I was going along.Good content. Thorough. Comprehensive. Good Value. Accurate. Up-to-date.

I used this book along with the practice tests in preparing for the CISSP exam, I found this along with Mike's LinkedIn learning course a great help in preparing for and passing the exam.

It's a monster of a book and a really tough read on some pages, I have about 30 years of experience in programming to cyber security and this really helped plug the holes that I didn't know especially around encryption. Passed the second time around using this book and the ISC2 test questions.

Has this with the cbk and both were really useful in prep for the exam. Will be using it a ready reference going forward.

I think because it's the OSG they may have got lazy and threw a load of dry content in with no attempt to make it easy for the student. The content doesn't seem structured in that the chapters are a mix of domains and content repeats in various chapters albeit with less or greater detail but it's a bit scrambled.Kindle edition is awful, they couldn't be bothered to expand the TOC. into the same format as the actual book.

There are 76 chapters in the audible audiobook, the accompanying PDF maps out and describes which of these chapters map to the domain topics. The mapping in incorrect. For example in the audible PDF, domain 2 defines chapters 5 and 16 are identified. However, they are actually chapter 17 and 18. The issue is that there are 76 chapters, working out the audiobooks chapters to the domains is not a quick and easy task. Amazon can you fix the accompanying PDF in the audible audiobook page.

But the style of writing seems like it is trying to hard. Is this because it is written by geeks or it is for geeks. Who knows?
