This light gives off a more yellow color, exactly what I wanted. I have one in my living room and you'd never even notice it's a grow light, aside from the fact that there's plants under it. The bulb itself is VERY bright to look at though, so I have it in a lamp with an opaque metal shade pointing at such an angle that you can't see the bulb unless you're really trying. Would not recommend use with translucent shades.I use this light on plants that are in a shady north facing window, before i got the grow light the plants seemed unhappy and I suspected lack of light. After adding the grow light, my plants are much happier, everybody is showing signs of growth. Since they are receiving a combination of sunlight and light from this grow bulb, I can't say how well the bulb would do on its own since I haven't tried it

I got these because I needed bright bulbs that were also small so that they didn’t stick out of the small hanging lamp shades I am using. The lamps are in my dining room so I wanted a setup for my plants that looked nice, but that also didn’t blind me. These have worked well. I use them on cacti right now and they seem to appreciate the amount of light. Both cacti are actually flowering right now! The bulbs don’t seem to get hot at all. I appreciate that the light color is normal yellow/white and not that tacky purple color that many grow bulbs are.

I have been searching for a warm white plant light for a while and finally found it! This plant light is the first one I can leave on while I’m in the room and not be grossed out by the light. It’s warm enough to use in a typical lamp and still have nice warm white lighting in your room. Even though it’s only 30w it is very bright. I’ve only had it for a week so I can’t speak to how well it works on my plants yet. I will be buying more!

Too early to tell how helpful these grow-lights will be. They looks pretty good, but frankly I was hoping for brighter. Are they really 30 watts each? The info paper included had info for several models, but did not say which one I have!

I’ve had these lights for a couple of weeks now and they work great! I’m seeing a ton of new growth in my plants that previously had none with another brand’s grow lights. Very happy!

Love these bulbs. I use them as grow lights for plants in a room that gets too little sun and they are installed in regular lamps. They look like regular bulbs with a warm glow. Most grow lights are a stark white. Plants are happy and so am I.

Seems bright. As for keeping my little tree alive spring will tell. Light is left on 6 hours per day.
