It can, but you need to pull the skin tag parallel to the ground and then apply the freezing head to the middle of the tag. The tag will then fall off from that point, but it may take 2 treatments and a few days.

Q: can it be used on my face

It works well to remove warts or skin tags or small moles. However, after using the product a red blister about the size of a dime will result. The blister heals within 7 to 10 days, but a red mark can remain for weeks. I have used this product over several years and it has never left a permanent scar, but you will definitely have a red mark for 4 to 6 weeks. It's up to you if you want that on your face. Good Luck

Don't touch the wart while releasing the freezing gas (hissing noise). Release the gas into the applicator on the stand, the can upside down, making the cotton applicator very cold. THEN touch the applicator to the wart, and hold it on the wart for the recommended time. If it is a wart, I think you need more than 3 seconds. Read the instructions for precise times.

Q: Do you need to use band-aids with this product?

To tell you the truth-I don't know- but I don't use a band-aid over it-I don't have any warts-I use it for other skin conditions.
