Oh my! This is a GREAT pen! I have a bit of a "thing" for pens and writing utensils. I enjoy trying new pens and get a certain thrill when I find a nice pen. This pen absolutely did not disappoint. I actually was very pleasantly surprised! They were not expensive and, yet, I feel give a more-than-satisfying experience. (Got these about a week ago during an AmazonPrime Day special.) These write nicely and smoothly -- very, very smooth! No blobbing or clumping when writing cursive (didn't wind up with ink on my hand nor bleeding through a non-specialty, standard notebook paper! Win!). Makes a lovely, colorful presentation. The pen stalk has an "okay" feel (I think I'd like it slightly squishier on the gripper, but do like the slightly matte, not slippery finish). Does NOT retract unexpectedly while writing, like some other retractable pens do. I really like the color selection in this package (20 ct) and that it has more than one of most colors (it even has a brown one -- not all that common, but a great fall color). The point size (I got medium) is a nice thickness and doesn't "grip" the paper in an unpleasant or scratchy manner, but allows the writer to glide across the paper more pleasantly than some competitors' I've tried. I also like that it has a see-through section where I can gauge how much ink is left in my pen without having to disassemble it. Possible downers: The pocket clip is plastic, not metal, so I don't know that it will take much tension abuse... might find it frustrating later if I were to clip on a notebook, backpack, or such. Does not write well on plastic like a window of an envelope, or plastic bag, etc. -- it will smudge and come off. Ick! (But not uncommon for gel pens.) Overall, very pleasantly surprised. No false advertising in this one -- I actually experienced InkJOY. ;-) Great, fun -- No need to pay more...I recommend giving it a try!

These pens are INCREDIBLE! Let me tell you a little about myself. I love office supplies. Every single year when it's back-to-school time, my favorite part of school shopping is simply getting the school supplies! I've been using my old pens consistently for about 3 years, and it was time for an upgrade. I love all kinds of pens - including, but not limited to gel pens, ball point pens, and felt tip pens. My favorite, however is a gel pen. I believe that a good gel pen can help you follow your dreams. Now, let's go ahead and address the fact that I do not like spending too much money on pens. When I see colorful pens, I tend to go with the most colors with the least price (no more than $20). These however went on sale for $19, and I had to grab them. ALL of these colors - including yellow, brown, and several variations of blues and greens? It's a dream come true. When I received them, I was ecstatic. Absolutely elated. When I opened them and used them for the first time, I almost cried. I think I shed a tear. I now understand why these pens were so much more expensive than the others. They write smoothly, they look nice, and the colors are the most vivid I have ever seen. You can physically feel the difference between writing with these pens, and the other colorful ones I use. I would rate this 10 stars if I could, and I am so lucky to have gotten such a great deal on them. Get these pens. With this experience, I have learned that they are completely worth the price, and you will not regret it.

My absolute favorite pens! I love the colors and how nice the ink looks and last! There comfortable to hold time on end. These also make great gifts for the teachers in your life!

Good pens

These Paper Mate InkJoy Gel Pens ROCK! I have an obsession with pens, seriously! I'm left handed and fellow lefties reading this know the struggle of Gel pens and our left hands. Nothing but smeared ink, colored hands, and smudged writing - but not anymore. A coworker had bought a single one of these paper mate pens and let me try it, within 30 seconds I was hooked. First of all the ink dries quickly, so I didn't smudge it, at all. Ever. Second, they write so smoothly. Third, the colors are vivid and bright and fourth, the pens feel nice in your hands! I have to hide these pens from everyone else because they are always trying to run off with them. I won't even let my coworkers use them anymore because everyone that does says "I'm going to take this!" or just tries to walk off with them. The only downfall I can find is that after about 2 weeks of daily use the ink starts to stall as you're writing, almost like it's run out, but not completely. But that is seriously after using 1 pen all day (I carry it in my purse to work, use at work all day, then back with me in my purse again! I'm telling you, they are that amazing!) for a couple days over 2 weeks! I love that this package has all of the different colors and even multiples of some of them because I can't get enough! ***Update- after finally getting around to using more than just a couple pens I've found at least 3 so far that don't work at all. I remove the plastic stopper (there's a little bead on the tip of the pen before you use them) and it doesn't work. Nothing comes out, no matter how many different things I try. Or how long I spend trying.

These are my favorite pens. I buy this brand often. Always from the store though. This pack i got from Amazon wasn't great... some of the pens leak ink and others only write some of the type. It's like they're dried inside. :(

Absolutely love all the colors. Easy to use. Kinda wish they were fine tips instead but still looks better than a basic pen. The pens are soft and smooth. Fits great in my agenda pen holder.

Ohhhh my! My teacher heart will always love these pens! I don't like the plain black and blue color, so I always use bright colors when grading. These are the perfect pen. Great ink, Great colors, and they always last!! Buy now!
