Amazing device
This is a different tech than usual presentation laser pointers, hence requires a logitec software installed on the laptop.However, it offers the option of installing the software on a USB drive so the device can work on any PC/Mac. The device has three modes - a multicolour pointer, a spotlight, and a magnifier. It connects via Bluetooth or an included USB dongle.Well built and a nice design, and comes with a sleeve and charging usb-c cable.

When this teams up with TED Talks, you know that this is serious and it means business. The built quality is quite attractive, the packaging is well put up, unlike the other presenters that looks like your split AC remote :-DThe device itself (although looks simple) but packed with commands. You will seriously standout with the awesome "Spotlight / Highlight" feature, the customizable mouse cursor and many more smart options - the color option (Space Grey) pair really well with MacBook Pro.Yes this is a but pricy .. but a long term investment for sure..

unit arrived dead... no light ..would not charge
Horrible experience ..after 500 AED I opened my Spotlight ponter..it was dead.. I followed all instructions ..tried to charge it for hours..and nothing ..I tried very hard to make it work..nothing helped..I am sure if I return it they will say it is used..I only received it yesterday.. Horrible experience..second mistake by Amazon..third one and I am out

Teuer aber sehr gut. Nur nicht die neueste Software installieren!
Für einen "einfachen" Presenter ist das Teil wirklich exorbitant teuer.Aber...Es ist eben NICHT nur ein einfacher Presenter!Mit der zugehörigen Software lassen sich einige sehr nützliche Funktionen nutzen.Der "Suchscheinwerfer" bzw. das Spotlight auf dem Bildschirm funktioniert echt toll und ist wesentlich schöner als ein simpler Laserpointer Punkt im Screen (den kann der Presenter aber auch).Aber. Ganz wichtig !Wenn man die neuste Software Version installiert hat der Presenter mit einem Male einige Funktionen eingebüßt.Die für mich wichtigste:Programmierung der unteren Taste bei langem Druck auf eine Tastenkombination der Wahl, ist dann nicht mehr vorhanden.Ich nutze die aber mit Wings X für das Audio Ducking (absenken und anheben der Lautstärke ) und habe sie mit einer 2 Tasten Kombination belegt.Abhilfe schafft hier, sich von der Webseite des Herstellers eine alte Version herunterzuladen (ja, die gibt es zum Glück noch zum Download) und die Auto Update Funktion im Setup zu deaktivieren.Nun funktioniert wieder alles so wie ich es brauche.Und das unter Windows und Mac!Auch das ein großes Plus.

Nice tool for presentations. With the Mac app the magnifier doesn't work - it magnifies your desktop image, but not your presentation.
