Power for days
When I was putting together my hex-acopter with the APM Flight Controller, I missed the piece where I needed to have a Power Module to convert down to the FC. I did some research and ended up purchasing this module. After reading that someone burned up their copter I was very hesitant to plug this in, but went for it. This unit worked PERFECTLY as described and I haven't had a bit of bad luck with it yet.The APM cables are very long and the connectors are tight. The clear shrink wrap around the module is thick and provided a lot of protection. The only think I don't like about this, is the fact that I need it which isn't a draw back from the unit.I am using it on a DIY Hexa Copter with APM 2.8.I WILL purchase this product again.

Works with 6 cells for Pixhawk.
It's working fine for a 6-cell Pixhawk build, as the 3DR power module will not handle six cells. A star off because the included cable did not seem to be compatible with the Pixhawk but the power cable that came with the Pixhawk seems to work OK.

Voltage readings inconsistent
Even after extensive calibration and setup in Mission Planner, voltage reading fluctuates a lot and it is inconsistent. At one voltage level it is correct just to be way off when voltage changes.I did not have this problem with the original 3DR PM. I used it with Pixhawk Mini.

6s Pixhawk power module
Pros:6s batteries with pixhawkCons:Connector hard to plug into pixhawkI got this because I wanted to use the DJI e600 power system with a TBS Disco frame and Pixhawk controller, but when I started looking it up, I found that the pixhawk nativly wouldn't support 6s, and that led me to this product. It has high quality xt60 connectors (the ones on mine were blue) and it works. The only issue is that the 6pin cable is really hard to push into the pixhawk, I kept thinking that I was going to break something, or bend pins.

One Star
Bought it to work with a Pixhawk, but the plug is just different enough to not be compatible. Returning.

Good product professional service!
Im using the HK Pilot Mega 2.7 so this power module is perfect! Even better, When I installed it the small wire connecting the board They sent me a brand new one, including the module! i love a seller who stands behind thier product!:-) returning customer 4 sure!

Didn't completely work till I fixed it.
I bought this a couple months ago and noticed that it wasn't allowing my Pixhawk to sense the battery voltage at all. I finally got around to figuring out why. There is a voltage divider (2 resistors) that is supposed to divide the battery voltage by 10 so that the voltage is in the range that the Pixhawk can read. A 4S battery pack will charge to about 16.8 volts, so with the 1/10 voltage divider, the PIxhawk should see about 1.68 volts. It turns out that one of the resistors in the voltage divider circuit is the wrong value so it was only dividing by 2. This caused the Pixhawk to see over 8 volts which is above the safe level for the input.I ended up changing the resistor to be the correct value, and it is now working. Luckily it didn't damage my PIxhawk. The point is if you buy one of these, beware that it might damage your flight controller. You can test it before you connect it to your flight controller by connecting a battery, and measuring the voltage between pins 4 and 6 on the small white connector. There should be 1/10 of the battery voltage at that point.
