DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for PlayStation 4 - Gray Blue

I have owned more than may share of PS4 wireless controllers. This one does not disappoint. It feels solid with great response time from the controls. I wish they made more in this unique color as well. The Gray blue has a beautiful look to it.

I'm a bit of a controller snob these days, though it pains me to admit it. When friends come over, I hide this controller away and we use the standard black Dualshock 4's. "Why is that?" you ask. Well, this ain't no regular Ds4.Okay, for the most part it is just like a regular ps4 controller. It's got the patterned grip, the giant, useless touchpad, and all four triggers click-clackin' away. There are, however, two very important additions:1) The analog sticks are textured. There is a grit to them that feels wonderful, and not unlike the textured outer ring of an Xbox One controller. This may seem minor, but it makes a HUGE difference when playing most anything on the PS4, especially shooters like Uncharted and Battlefield. This tiny little change ( which they don't advertise on the box by the way) makes this Ps4 controller the one to buy.2) That two-toned color scheme looks so darn good in real life. Given the insane amount of beautiful Xbox One controllers kicking around, it's strange the Sony hasn't produced all that many variants. While subdued, I can confirm that this color scheme is classy and pleasing to the eye.But seriously, textured thumbsticks.Hope this helps!-Terry B.

The color on this controller is second best to the Glacier White PS4 -- but that's just my opinion. This controller had everything going for it (as it joins my Original Black and Glacier White controller which my kids adopted) -- until I heard the speaker.Yes, the speaker.I may have gotten a defective one -- either that or Sony is using cheaper hardware for its newer controllers. Afterall, who would notice?So upon setting the speaker volume settings I noticed that the speakers on this one don't produce the same "high quality" sound that my other controllers have. It's hard to describe. He original controllers seem to have a "stereo" kind of sound to it, while this one sounds more "mono". That said, the "new" speaker sounds louder by a bit -- it's a more "to the point" kind of sound rather than the more subtle sound produced by the original controllers. Is it a deal-breaker? Not really, but time will tell. I'm not too happy with having downgraded hardware though, so this loses a star for me. However, the louder speaker might actually be a blessing as the original ones were quite muted to begin with. This may grow on me, and if it does, I'll update my review here and add the last star back on coz darn it -- the colour is just so awesome.

So the one I've got is the Limited Edition Uncharted4 gray-bLUE DS4 Controller. Since I first got my PS4 a year ago I immediately liked the new DS4, its a overall improvement of the DS3 and is now my favorite controller to use for everything... I even got the Cronusmax to use it on my Xbox 360 and it feels right when using it on this console too.Now this version of the DS4 has little tweaks over the original, starting with the color (obviously) ... but also the buttons, the D-PAd and the touch pad are of a different material. on the original DS4 (the one that comes with the console) this parts are made with a glossy kind of hard plastic, but on this Limited Edition version they are made with a matte kind of plastic.... it's nothing out the blue but it feels different when your playing, it has a different texture, I hope it doesn't wear out with time...Personally it feels more comfortable.Conclusion: the DS4 controller for me is the best out there. and this version is a better looking with minor esthetic improvements.

We bought this completely for the color and it's great! Our PS4 came with a black controller and I was disappointed that they haven't implemented a pink one like they did on the PS3. I settled on the white and then we got the regular blue for our son. We still needed one more as we are a family of 4 so when I heard this was coming out I told my husband about it. It's meant to go with a particular video game, which we do not have or play so I was worried about it being branded with that but other than the box itself, it doesn't advertise that game at all. It's a beautiful color in between gray and blue. If this was out when I picked my white one out I probably would have chosen this. Very happy with it though!

If you want a great controller that works out of the box for your Mac then this is the one for you, forget the aftermarket PC/Mac "supported" controllers and go with the PlayStation Dual Shock 4. After fully charging, I paired this controller through Mac > System Preferences > Bluetooth in a minute. Immediately fired up "Leo's Fortune" from the Mac App Store and t worked perfectly. OpenEmu fully supports this controller so you can play any ROMs that you own. There's a huge list of games that work out of the box on the Mac with this controller.Side note (on topic) If you own a PC I would recommend an Xbox controller / receiver.

Its a PS4 controller so as long as you don't throw it and destroy it will continue to work. I still have this controller and it still works. So it did its job over the years!

Waiting for the Seller to return my message asking about it, but for now this controller does not even turn on. Plugging it into to a usb cord briefly turns on the front light, but that's it.Looks like I got scammed out of $100
