Great table sauces
The Marie Sharp's line centers around their original "hot" red habanero sauce, and then there are a confusing number of additional heat levels that essentially taste the same as the original. Beyond all those, there are a bunch of variations with the addition of different tropical fruits, smoked peppers, and even a green sauce with prickly pear (nopal). This 3-pack includes the original hot, the mild variant, and the green nopal sauce.Marie Sharp's sauces are based on habanero peppers and share a similar set of basic ingredients, with carrots in the prominent role, ahead of vinegar, aromatics and lime for a unique, tangy flavor profile. The green sauce adds sweetness from the nopal, and that fresh flavor of the green habaneros, but it maintains the same overall character as the red sauces. They are all delicious but certainly more similar than different from one another.Compared to a lot of Caribbean hot sauce brands, as well as many of the independent domestic producers, the Marie Sharp's "hot" sauce is really quite mild, while their "mild" has almost no heat whatsoever. The green nopal sauce falls somewhere in between, barely qualifying as a "hot sauce" in my opinion. I've also tried the "fiery hot" sauce that is one step up from "hot", and to me, it is barely noticeable if it is really any hotter. Then again, I think it's better to think of these as table sauces rather than hot sauces - use these for their flavor as much as any heat they impart, and because they are mild, you can use a lot. The basic flavor profile is versatile and works well with a wide range of cuisines.Looking at the nutrition facts on the labels all the way up to their hottest sauces, I noticed that sodium levels increase as you move up the heat scale, sometimes doubling from one sauce to the next; beware of that if you have high blood pressure.

Different than the others
Absolutely love this habanero hot sauce. Possibly influenced by our many trips to Belize. We prefer this mild version so we can use more for more flavor. The hotter ones are also excellent.

Great for us Gringos
Get the great Habanero taste with just slightly less than medium heat. Been my favorite hot sauce for years....a little tastier than Tabasco, better than Cholula.

Good price
This is my favorite hotsuce of all time. The flavor or the pepper is not masked by the heat. The carrot and lime adds a smoothness to the overall flavor.

Mark Wiens was right
I saw an episode of Mark Wiens ranting about this sauce, which is something I had never seen him do before, so I had to try it, and I was not disappointed. This sauce is good on some things and great of others. I am so glad I tried it, and I think this is about my forth order of three bottles, and with no issues. The items come well wrapped, and no issues.
