Mercruiser Stern Drives 1992-2001 Repair Manual

I have used this manual to asist me in doing repairs to my boat. It has been a real help. As a bit of an experienced mechanic, although not with this particular type engine, i sometimes attempted tasks without checking the manual, and read the manual after in my spare time, only to realize that i could have saved a lot of time had i read the procedure in here before.I also find that things here are explained in a way that even the much less experienced do it your selfer, could follow the steps and get major work done, and the more experienced is definitely encouraged to do more for his/her self.I initially started learning mechanics from this type manuals quite a few, maybe as much as 22 years ago, and this is a good improvement. once u could read and follow instructions this manual would save u lots of time and money. also unless you carry your mechanic every time u go out on your boat, getting familiar with it could be the difference between calling for a tow, and probably still being stuck in an uncomfortable situation with fussing friends and family for a long while or getting back up and running and enjoying the rest of your day. and its always a nice show off point when you get her back up and running yourself, even if u had to go for the book :-)Pernell Phillips :-)Trinidad and Tobago

I ws very happy to get this manual. Getting people to work on old boats is damn near impossible.

A fine repair manual, good instructions, well illustrated, and in an easy to follow format that allows anyone to achieve good results with a minimum of difficulty. Clearly exceeds any manufacturers repair manuals by miles. Specs for various year and engine/drive models and maintenance tips that can save time and money. A wise investment for Mercury Sterndrve Owners. Great for Alpha and Bravo outdrives.

The book was in worse condition than advertised. It was advertised as good with light water damage on the edges, however the spine is messed up and the pages are nearly coming out of the book.

Great book to have

Pretty good overall book about Mercruiser engines and stern drives. Enough to get a handle on my boats equipment. Not always super model specific. But worth the money to have as a reference.

Thorough and readable. Excellent source for doing minor to more extensive repairs/maintenance on these I/O drives.

Manual is complete and carefully organized for easy reference.

I was satisfied with the short delivery time.The book is also a good deal if you want to do a lot of the engine work by your self.

This book has everything you need and more. Very good diagrams and explanations. I am new to boating and thought it would be good to get a book as I am a mechanic, but don't have any experience with boats. It is very helpful and even though there is a lot of stuff the same as auto's, there are some differences to.
