Quality alternative for price
These boots really surprised me with the all day comfort and fit. I've been wearing 8" Danner Quarry's which are considerably more expensive, but these boots are just as comfortable on balance. The fit is good in the toe box and heel, I have room but my foot is not sliding around like I thought it might without laces. The plastic heel counter type thing is ugly but seems to give some ankle support. Wore them straight out of the box and only had a little tenderness at the end of the first day. I've been wearing them for about 3 months and they are holding up pretty well to general farm work.The one thing to note, and where my Danners smoked this boot, is that they feel very hot. I think the Carhartt waterproof membrane is pretty one purpose and doesn't do much for letting heat escape. I would guess this wouldn't be an issue in the winter, but right now with 80+ temps in Michigan corn fields I'm wringing my socks out at the end of the day.

Fits true to size . Good arch support.

Expensive, but worth it. The first pair I have had for a few years but they are too small. Finally got the right size.

Good Deal
Not Knowing I ordered my regular size 10...mistake..I recommend ordering a full size to size plus....I returned for a size up and was ok with that yet a size and half would of been nicer.....trying to slide into a 10 was not good but a 11 and a little effort worked out fine..I'm sure that in time the boot will fit like a glove...Great fit...nice looking boot.....even though they are water proof I still put a water repellent on them CYA

Boot size is not accurate
This is been the first time that I have bought cathartic boots. I got the exact same size as the 5 pairs of boots I've been wearing for the past five years from CAT and doc Martin. However they seem too small. I've now given them at least a weeks worth of wearing just to make sure that they didn't just need to be broken in and they are still too tight. I will have to return them.

Fell apart
Had owned a pair of these boots foot 8-9 years. Re-healed them once and loved them. Needed a new pair for new customer facing job so bought them again. I had to take them on and off 4-5 a days and in less than a year the lining tore apart. I can’t put them on any longer. By the time I contacted Carhartt it was just over a year and all they offered was 25% off a new pair. No thanks. A company that size can do better. No more Carhartt for me.
