The style is neat, attractive with black case/face plate and white hands, the automatic back light makes reading in the dark so easy and clear, not too bright either. Very pleased

We needed a new alarm clock and chose this as have had one before. It is illuminated and has a loud alarm. It is small and transportable, quality and easy to see at night.

a but smaller than i thought so check the size before purchase. easy to use. the build quality is amazing and all features work as described.

1) the hour hand on my clock is fast & there is no way I can put it right. 2) the hands are equal size which makes telling the time when you open a sleepy eye very difficult (especially with the fast hour hand). 3) the light is excellent & the alarm just right. It fit so many of my requirements but actually it's very disappointing.

Very well designed clock. Surprised how many batteries required but suspect this is because of the nightlight feature which can actually be turned off. Would have given it 5* but it is somewhat overpriced. You should not have to pay for good, well thought out design.

Purchased in June 2021. I bought it to replace a digital alarm clock and I like the design and shape. It also has a quiet second hand sweep. It keeps time well and, as with all analogue clocks, the alarm setting is not precise and that is not an issue for me. I find the time and alarm setting easy to adjust and the push button light is adequate to tell the time in the dark. The quiet second hand was barely audible until a few weeks ago when it became louder. It is a distraction when trying to get to sleep. I cannot see a way of fixing this as the clock face cannot be removed and there is no access to the clock face from the rear. It is no longer suitable for my purposes as a bedroom alarm clock and is now used as a desk clock. After only 2 years of use I will need to buy another alarm clock. That's disappointing considering the price.

Having relied on my mobile phone to wake me up I decided that it was time to go back to ‘old school’. The mechanism is completely silent, controls are very easy to operated and with the backlit dial it very easy to glance at the time.

A great example of sensible design, with everything needed and nothing unnecessary. Simple and intuitive to set up and use, as well as being very good to look at with an exceptionally clear time display. Our example functions faultlessly and despite criticism by others of the battery cover, ours was exemplary in being really easy to remove and replace. Being constructed with only a light plastic casing it will become no family heirloom, but sadly a heavier build in hardwood and glass would obviously be prohibitive. This is only a recent purchase so I cannot yet speak for durability but for the moment it is very much liked. Well pleased.

I bought several Alarm clocks in the past but this Braun clock is the best alarm clock I've bought ever. There is a backlight which is very subtle which i keep it on for full night which is not at all distracting even the alarm is not very annoyingly loud. Price is high but worth it.

Lo compré por el diseño y ha cumplido con creces: es un Braun de líneas limpias, claramente heredero del lenguaje de Dieter Rams. En mano se ve y se siente como una pequeña pieza de diseño industrial. Me preocupaba el ruido y, tal como promete la marca, es súper silencioso: no se oye ni un clic y se puede dormir con él al lado sin problema. La iluminación nocturna me ha sorprendido para bien: incorpora un sensor que evita encenderse con luz ambiente y solo activa un resplandor bajo cuando hay poca luz, justo lo necesario para ver la hora sin deslumbrar. Por todo esto, lo recomiendo: es un objeto bonito, funcional y accesible dentro del mundo del diseño.

Den bara går och går och håller tiden som den skall! Pålitlig klocka. Ringsignalen kunde ha varit starkare och mer irriterande. Klockan såg ändå till att jag vaknade så den fyller sin funktion.
