Fits perfect
Read the reviews and almost didn’t get this because so many people said the screw holes did not line up. This advertises for gen 1 or 2 nests which is what I have and it fits perfect. So my guess is people don’t know what nest version they have and are ordering wrong. Glad I went ahead and purchased despite all the negative reviews!!

Oh My God
It's just off center enough to drive you mad every time you walk past it, I actually find myself needing to remind myself not to try to move the damn thing because it won't budge after installed. It is nice, do not get me wrong, it's so much better than having nothing there, it's a very nice accent to the thermostat itself, but I have tried everything short of taking it to a machinist to have it fixed.

Does not work with all nest thermostat
This thing did not line up with the bust wiring bracket I had to make my own holes and you can see the screws heads it an eye sore

Almost Perfect
The wall plate holes did not line up with the actual Next mounting holes. I had to drill my own holes into the plate in order to mount the nest so it would appear symmetrical. Wasn't anything hard to do, just an extra step
