Gold Medal Pets Shampoo for Dogs, 17 oz.

Shampoo is very nice, my dog who has sensitive skin for most products does not scratch after being washed with this.However the shipping was terrible. See pix. The Hanoi was first sealed in a plastic bag then put in a padded envelope... along with s DVD I purchased. You can see the volume of shampoo in the bag it was sealed in as well as the wet padded shipping envelope. Oh well at least the rest of my mail smelled good. Would not buy this again from Amazon though because of the damage and collateral damage.

My local pet store no longer carries this brand and I was so happy to find it again on Amazon. I have used other whitening shampoos in the interim and although they all whiten there is one important thing this shampoo accomplishes. Your dog will definitely dry FASTER with this shampoo hands down. I have one dog with silky hair and one with curly hair and they both are brindle and white. It works perfectly for both dogs and they both do not like to be dried so this definitely reduces any stress they experience.My dog with the silky hair texture benefits from the conditioner and my other dog doesn't require it. You need to use very little product to get a good lather and a bottle of this shampoo is long lasting, I ordered multiples to get the free shipping - it is my favorite shampoo of all time. To those sensitive to scent, this is extremely mild and pleasant. I don't think you will regret this purchase or any other Gold Medal product as I also have used their sprays.

Been using this for years on our Shih Tzus. Does a great job keeping the fur from matting, and I like the smell, though it is strong and I'm sure the dogs hate it. I call it the "old lady cream rinse" and that is what it smells like. But they aren't allergic to it, and it works like a charm, so I keep going back to it. I do cut it with water - fill a cup half full, squirt some in and swish it around, then apply. Works better that way - spreads it around more. Then rub it in, and rinse off. Voila! Nice fluffy dog.

I am impressed with the product! I don’t usually write reviews but this is one of the few times.I have used other brand before and it was a dark blueish-purple inky kind shampoo, it was good but too harsh for my dog’s hair. So, once I saw this light blue and silky shampoo I tough it would not help to whiten my dogs hair. Well, I was wrong, not only that whitens the hair but also it leaves his hair soft and nice.

I LOVE this shampoo!!! This is the only shampoo that I use on my Great Pyrenees mix. Her fur literally glistens after a bath and is so soft that it's like petting a cloud. I have a terribly sensitive nose to perfumes/scents and do not like to use smelly products on my dogs. I have no problems with the smell of this product. It is mild and doesn't linger on the fur. Please Gold Medal Pets, do not stop selling this shampoo because I will be lost.

I have 2 Westies. One is 15 and doesn't get as dirty as he used too. The other is 1.5 years old and loves to play in my flower beds. This shampoo works GREAT on her.The shampoo is very thick and gets even thicker if the bottle gets cold. I recommend making sure the shampoo isn't stored in a cool location. My bottle was cool and when I used it it didn't stay on her at first so I had to use more than I normally do.

I am new to owning a dog, but I know when I got her, she smelled pretty gross. The people I picked her up from had used Dawn dish soap to wash her, which I understand has it benefits, but made her smell no better. When I picked this up, it's what my sister had recommended. The shampoo helps with the drying process, Moo Moo is dry within an hour without heat! Moo Moo smells good and feels so soft. I will continue buying for my bebe.

I have a male Maltese that likes to get dirty, so I bathe him once a week. Unfortunately this product just slides right off his wet or dry coat when I try to shampoo him. Everything ends up down the drain. Very frustrating. I wonder what I am doing wrong.
